Vineyard National Golf Course

Definitely an enjoyable experience. The course was in decent condition. The pace was good. The staff was amazing! Going back for sure.

We had a wonderful time.

It was a perfect day for golf!!

What happened to this place? Times are tough I guess?!?

The rough is mostly crabgrass . The bunkers are also mostly crabgrass. Maintenance is very lacking and is fair to poor.

The greens were the best part as they rolling ok.

Otherwise not worth the $89.00 we paid. Not worth it fir even 1/2 that amount.

Have played this course a lot in the past and love the track. However, on course amenities were always lacking for a course in this price range. It was more about the golf and go to restaurant after. Now looks like all the money is going into the vineyard/restaurant next door. Greens were slow, grass was growing in bunkers and rough looks like weeks in between mowing. Will not play again this year, seem to be maintaining the vineyard, not the course.

The course is in perfect shape even in the midsummer conditions. Everyone should try to get out to Vineyard National. they also finally have a restaurant for drinks afterwards, which was really the only thing holding the course back.

The course is in great condition especially the greens. There was some aeration ares in the fairways and some heat damage but overall the course was in very nice condition. The layout was a lot of fun. Looking forward to playing here again soon.

I have read recently about the bunkers & fescue and it’s all on point as of now but not all the bunkers. We’re told by starter they’re being repaired so to me it isn’t a big deal. Would definitely play here again!

Could be a great track but lacking maintenance in all aspects!

Fun layout and good course overall. Back 9 bunkers are literally unplayable right now though. Other than that it’s a good layout and has potential to be really great

Overall layout is very nice. Staff is excellent and very friendly. However the course is badly in need of some TLC. The rough is completely overgrown with weeds and puddles everywhere. Most of the bunkers have long-standing puddles with brown water.

Aeration of the fairways has nothing to do with this review as I know this is part of course maintenance. Staff was great and layout was very nice. We know rain hits the area hard but it looked like no one put fertilizer, weed control or cut the rough in a while. For the price, I expected more....

- Plugs from aeration all over the first cut and rough

- Rough was mainly weeds, some 12” tall. That was the worst part going even a foot into the rough from fairway. Hard to find a well hit ball.

- Disaster around the greens with weeds and super high rough

- Most bunkers need attention. Little rocks are normal but most bunkers have weeds or little or no sand.

Could keep going but hope the management gets a crew to improve the conditions. I play many courses with 20 miles, this was in poor shape. Could be a great course with a solid week of maintenance. .

The starter sent us out early due to a cancellation . The course was in fairly good condition and the greens were full and a little quicker than other courses in the area. Tee boxes were also in good condition. However, the bunkers are actually dangerous, with lots of stones and pebbles. Luckily I avoided them, but I gave my playing partner free drops out of them.

Some of the greens have quite a bit of slope and will not hold even a high shot into them, and you may end up chipping back to the hole or putting from off the green.

The staff were all very friendly. It didn't seem too busy and there wasn't a ranger. Most courses tell you to drive in the fairways, and then exit back to the cart path. We noticed a lot of players (especially the 2 carts in front of us) driving all over the rough, and there were tire tracks in a lot of the rough not just from them? Please help maintaining all the courses you play to make for better golf for everyone.

The course was in beautiful shape. Greens were soft and perfect. Me and my son played for the first time and we’re both pleasantly pleased!

We happened to be the first tee time of the day, so we played it under 3 hours. Wish it took longer bc we enjoyed it that much.

The out door patio of the restaurant looked absolutely beautiful! We didn’t go in, but took pictures it looked so nice.

I would absolutely play here again

Course has made a huge improvement bs years past. Bunkers look great on front nine and looking forward to the upgrade to the back nine traps.

Over half the bunkers on the course were nonexistent of sand .weeds rocks etc .fairways and greens were good For the price not worth playing again till they get addressed .
