About
Ron Jaworski’s Riverwinds Golf & Tennis Club is situated along a scenic stretch of grassland between the banks of the Woodbury Creek and the deep harbor marina on the Delaware River. Its location gives it the feel of traditional seaside links courses found in Scotland and Ireland, which is further enforced by the sod-wall bunkers that lurk near the greens. The layout features plenty of water and incorporates the surrounding wetlands as well. One unique feature of the golf course is that the routing winds across a mile-long twisting burn, creating a visually interesting setting. Riverwinds begins with a gentle, mostly flat front nine but the mounding becomes more aggressive as you move onto the back. All of the holes face a different direction, which means you’ll most likely be using all the clubs in your bag to tackle the crosswinds and rugged terrain.

good, but for this much money?
nice layout, pretty fast green, nice pace. good condition
but for this much money. definitely not worth over $100 even on a weekend.
last 4 or 5 holes are right next to water, so windy.^^
Solid Course
Course conditions were awesome. Got a hot deal and tried it out. Didn’t get all 18 in because I started at 3:10 and the course got backed up by the 9th hole but I’ll def try it again.
Great course near Philadelphia
Riverwinds is a great public course near Philadelphia. It is a long course along the Delaware River. The club house is a bit hard to find (it's a yellow building near the outdoor hockey rink), but the staff is very nice. I'd definitely play there again!
Greens worst I seen them at this course!
Love Riverwinds! Layout is great and also usually enjoy playing it the few times I get a year. To be honest the course conditions weren’t ideal. Air Rated I believe 2 weeks ago and you could really tell. Some tee boxes were chewed up and greens were bumpy and hairy.
I usually like this course
Not only was the GolfNow price $25 more than their webpage price, $110 vs $85, but the greens were recently aerated, and they still overcharged us. Might be my last time playing there. 👎👎
Great course but….
Was extremely disappointed that the choose to do cart path only for what turned out to be our first 10 holes. Really slowed okay for what appeared to be no reason. And at $135 for a round, it’s way overpriced for what it offers. Great golf course but no other amenities
Appropriately named by the river and definitely windy
Playing surface well maintained Greens reasonably quick for public course A few blind shots and water that makes it better to play with someone who knows the course.

Would definitely play again when in the area
I really like the course and will play again. Staff seemed indifferent when I dropped my clubs at the bag drop. They were better at the end of the round.
