About
Ron Jaworski’s Riverwinds Golf & Tennis Club is situated along a scenic stretch of grassland between the banks of the Woodbury Creek and the deep harbor marina on the Delaware River. Its location gives it the feel of traditional seaside links courses found in Scotland and Ireland, which is further enforced by the sod-wall bunkers that lurk near the greens. The layout features plenty of water and incorporates the surrounding wetlands as well. One unique feature of the golf course is that the routing winds across a mile-long twisting burn, creating a visually interesting setting. Riverwinds begins with a gentle, mostly flat front nine but the mounding becomes more aggressive as you move onto the back. All of the holes face a different direction, which means you’ll most likely be using all the clubs in your bag to tackle the crosswinds and rugged terrain.

Great links course
You should definitely find time to play this course. It is a fairly open course, in great condition. And it’s a good value for your money. Being convenient to downtown Philadelphia is just another plus
A bit pricey
Played the course a few years ago. Price has almost doubled.
No water stations to refill a water bottle is a big negative.
The course is very good, some very interesting holes.. par 3 17th notably .Had a ragweed infestation on one hole. Quite odd , it was like it was snowing.
Must Play Course In Phila Area
Course conditions were fantastic. Staff was extremely friendly. The course has some great views of the river and Philadelphia skyline on the back 9. Must play if you’re in the area.
Gorgeous course!!
This course was absolutely beautiful! Everything was in great condition even though the greens looked like they were punched about a month ago or so they rolled real nice. It’s definitely a premium price to pay in the area but some of the views of the water and especially their signature hole 17 make you forget about the cost. Can’t wait to go back and bring some friends too!
Fun course but wind and cold
Great layout and fast greens. But is was freezing that day with 25 mph winds.
Mid winter round..
Course conditions were great for a mid winter round!! They also had consessions open at turn.
Bird 💩
Course layout is amazing. The only problem is there is so much bird 💩 on the course. I caught myself shovelibg bird 💩 with my irons away from my ball. Besides that great course.
Christmas Eve Golf
Great weather for December and very good course conditions for December. Good front 9 but user/operator on back 9 spoiled early Christmas gift 😀. Rich the starter friendly and professional and staffer at the carts great attitude. Looking forward to my next visit.
Good Round For Me
Signed up as a solo, but staff paired me with a twosome. Staff was very professional and friendly in making the match. Twosome were great guys and skill levels were similar. Great pace of play, despite our late tee time and fact that course started 15 minutes late in the morning. Staff was surprised, but happy that we and two other groups behind us got in all 18, arriving back to starting point after sundown.
I’ve played this course 4 times this year, and I have only myself to blame for bad hits, because it wasn’t due to course conditions. Always great lyes, both on fairways and rough. I’ll be back for sure.
Good but not for that money
The course has a nice layout. Conditions are fair. Used to love palying this course and then Ron J has gone mad. The greens fee for this course just can not be justified. Yes, being in the vicinity of Philly, there are not that many decent tracks offered to public but this course can not have its country club price tag. $80 give or take on the weekends may be fair. NOT $135!
Nice course, ranger not so much
Course is mint for November, however, the ranger was pretty rude. My buddy was driving and we were scolded for driver over the mounds, but there was no cart path that led to the fairway…he could’ve been a lot nicer about it but he was a grumpy old man.

nice layout, pretty fast green, nice pace. good condition
but for this much money. definitely not worth over $100 even on a weekend.
last 4 or 5 holes are right next to water, so windy.^^
