About
Ron Jaworski’s Riverwinds Golf & Tennis Club is situated along a scenic stretch of grassland between the banks of the Woodbury Creek and the deep harbor marina on the Delaware River. Its location gives it the feel of traditional seaside links courses found in Scotland and Ireland, which is further enforced by the sod-wall bunkers that lurk near the greens. The layout features plenty of water and incorporates the surrounding wetlands as well. One unique feature of the golf course is that the routing winds across a mile-long twisting burn, creating a visually interesting setting. Riverwinds begins with a gentle, mostly flat front nine but the mounding becomes more aggressive as you move onto the back. All of the holes face a different direction, which means you’ll most likely be using all the clubs in your bag to tackle the crosswinds and rugged terrain.

Great experience minus the ranger.
Great course. Greens were nice, fairways were beautiful, rough was good. Everyone was nice except the ranger. Ranger comes up to our group and was very rude. Tell us on the 14th hole to speed up our play and catch up to the group in front of us. Even though we were right with the group in front of us the whole round. Then tell us to keep our balls in the fairway to someone in my group. I guess we caught him on a bad day lol. But besides that everyone else was very friendly and nice and course was very good for winter golf.
Best Course 25 minutes from Center City Philadelphia
Highly recommend playing. Find your self a hot deal so it’s affordable
A Decent Course
There are a number of interesting holes on this course.
A suggestion: Some of the holes are a bit too long from the seniors tee....such ase 360+ yards for a par 4.
Lil Weathered
The T Boxes were quite beat Up … Especially for February ??
Have know idea why ??? Goose Sh!+ All Over the Place …
(Annoying) … We were on 1st Green and Group Behind us were yelling at us like we were holding them up ??? We had 1 Birdie 2 Pars & a Bogey !!! They Proceeded to Skip 2nd hole and Jump in front of us ??? CRAZY ?? That had us Lil Frazzeled … Joe & Pat at the Bags were FANTASTIC … Super Nice Guys !!! For the $$$ was disappointed .. Probably Won’t Return !!

Course was is great shape - staff is friendly and helpful!! Carts are a little worn. Halfway house was closed( They grill an awesome burger at the turn - definitely get one) Ranger handed out water was an awesome addition.
Nice course, but few amenities
Great condition, beautiful course for fall. However, no driving range, no on-course snack shack/ permanent bathrooms/beverage cart for $100 on a non-holiday Monday morning is kind of ridiculous. Probably my last time playing for that price going forward.
Beautiful course!
I loved RiverWinds! Beautiful course. Fun layout. Very long course even from the White/Green which were together. Several par 4's were 430 and up. Greens were in perfect condition - lightning fast with a ton of break. Traps were in excellent condition. The views of the river are spectacular. Staff working the carts was less than friendly. Not helpful at all. Didn't tell us anything about where to pick up our cart and how to get to the first tee - which is a long drive away.
