Berkshire Valley Golf Course

Tee boxes need a little work. Read allt about the shape of the bunkers. Bunkers are fine unless you’re terrible playing out of the trap but they have been worked on recently. Fairways have a lot of divots but with all of the rain we’ve gotten it’s kind of expected. Excellent around the greens and the greens are rolling very well. This was my first time playing here and if you land the ball in the wrong place on the green you can expect a 3 putt. Pins were in very tough positions where if you literally roll the ball 3-4 feet past the hole it’s rolling down to the lower tier. Absolutely love a challenging course to really see where you stand. Would def go back!!!

Traditional, fun, views, manicured, and under $100. I enjoyed this course playing it while visiting from Atlanta. I would like to play it again.

Foursome played today, cart path only, due to the rains last night but the round still moved pretty well.

First 4 holes are long and narrow- go left and you’re in the mountain, and go right and you’re off the cliff- need to be right in the middle. Also- especially on the first hole watch out for the snakes- they are poisonous and there are signs posted about them.

Rest of the course is beautiful, open and scenic. They have a BBQ shack on the 9th where you order the food and pick it up on the 12th- so it doesn’t slow down play. cart girl drives around. A little rain earlier on but it stopped and the clouds broke to a sunny day! Overall great morning and round.

We played a Tuesday afternoon round on a perfect day for golf but it took 5 hours. There was no ranger to push the group ahead of us and a 2 to 3 hole opened in front of them. Rocks in the bunkers have been a problem for several years and there seem to be no plans to address this. Many bunkers are completely unplayable. I don’t know how a legitimate score can be posted should you enter a trap. This is a fun, picturesque layout that desperately needs some work done.

Pace was very fast because of very cloudy and sprinkled weather. Course getting better and better, still early. Views are magnificent especially of the first five holes on the side of the mountain. Can't wait to go back.

Staffs are always friendly and the course layout is excellent, especially the hillside from holes 1 to 6 gives you the feeling of a golf courses in S.Korea. Fairway was well maintained at a high level, but the tee boxes were damaged by many divot marks, and the bunker lacked sand, Aerating Greens now. However I enjoyed my Round, definitely recommend this course to play

Course was in good shape. Staff was friendly both inside and at the starter booth. Weekday in April they didnt' have a cart going around nor the halfway house open, but to be expected somewhat early in the season. Enjoyed the round and pace of play was 4hrs15mins.

Good course for time of year. Conditions were excellent. Layout is wide open.
