Excellent course. Great conditions, but be aware that the bunkers are not being maintained (because of the pandemic). Our group opted to take a free drop outside any bunkers. Lots of hills — definitely not for walkers.

Great day, great company and a horrible, frustrating pace of play. There were two groups in front of us that turn this round into a siz hours affair...not fair to anyone. I called the starter after finishing the first hole and having to WAIT for almost 20 minutes to tee of at number 2...things got progressively worse as the group behind us started hitting their shots while we were still on the fairway or the greens....just a horrible day

Really liked this course - challenging but fair, well-kept, and the views are fantastic.

Not be disappointed. Bring your A game. Getting off the the tee a must . Fairways are perfect..Back nine a bit easier with some nice carries of water and scoring chances .

The course was in great condition, every surface maintained so well, all amenities available including a bbq at 9th/10th. Staff were friendly and engaging. A must play in Morris County!

Oy! Long, tight, hard. Don’t get too frustrated. Hard at first but opens up halfway through. For sure bar none hands down the best in the county mate.

Just as other reviewers here have said, the sand traps need work. That being said, I played with a couple of regulars and was told that because of Corona, the sand trap project never got started in the spring. As you pull into the parking lot, there are two giant mounds of fresh sand sitting there, that will eventually fill the rocky bunkers that line this otherwise amazing and beautiful golf course. So play this course with the bunker issue in mind. Without hesitation, I would give this course close to 5 stars if the bunkers were completed. Tee boxes weren't perfect, but were flat, and for the most part you could find a nice spot to hit from. Fairways were in perfect condition. Greens were receptive and in perfect condition. Make sure you land in the correct location or you'll be putting up or down multiple tiers on a few greens. Berkshire's greens are very fast. So make sure you take a trip over to the practice green before your round to give yourself an idea of what you'll be putting on. Course was fair. Good shots were rewarded. Beautiful views from everywhere on the course. Highly recommend playing here.

The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is the sand traps are awful, hardly an sand at all. Otherwise everything is fantastic here. Tee boxes, fairways, greens are all first rate. 4 hour play time perfect. Beautiful scenery.

One of the nicest public courses is NJ, hands down.

I’m a 15 handicap and shooting a 103 felt really good here. Very tough place place. But awesome layout

All things considered after a huge storm course was in excellent shape not much forgiveness with the hillside layout but beautiful course challenging and in great shape
