Overlooked Gem.
This course was tucked away from view but definitely worth the drive. Set back overlooking an escarpment and utilizing the topography to its advantage the course offers numerous challenging holes from all tee boxes. From our first encounter with the friendly staff to our cart return it was the most enjoyable round we have played in some time. The starter paired us up with a young member who took the time to explain the layout and the various strategies to employ from the tee boxes. It was like having a local caddie. If I lived closer I’d definitely consider a membership. The facilities, while small and spartan offer a fresh made menu and a friendly atmosphere. The pro shop welcomed us warmly which was refreshing. We’re definitely planning to return later in the summer.
Chemicals
1st time and LAST time playing here. Never seen a course spray chemicals on greens with a packed course. Fairways and bunkers were in poor shape and the tees ain't that much better. Greens were the saving grace for this course or it would be 0 stars
Top 5
This course is pristine and a must play. Staff is friendly and helpful, grounds are gorgeous. Don’t know how else to say you must play!!!
Not worth the regular rates
We played on a “hot” deal so it was ok but outside of the green conditions ( which were good) the rest of the course was horrible. Certainly not worth the $70+ greens fees that are usually listed on golf now. Some really nice holes and beautiful views but also some head scratchers.
Fantastic Experience
From Nick the starter to our post round beer with Kat the bartender, everything and everyone were polite, professional, and welcoming. The course was in great shape.
High Bridge Hills
Golf course layout was interesting but many blind shots and carts have no GPS so hard to figure out layout and shot placement. Tee boxes were awful. Not flat but humped and slopping. Greens were fast and in good shape. Fairway full of bunkers and mogul mounds. Hard to find a flat spot on very tight fairways.

Course layout is pretty challenging. There are many blind shots so if you are not in the fairway it can be difficult to find your ball. Greens were impeccable. Fairways a bit dry but expected due to no rain. Pace of play was a bit slow but we were able to jump a slower group at the turn which was suggested by the ranger who was very accommodating and aware of the pace of play. Overall very nice course and nice people.
