About
Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

It’s not just a par 3 course. One gets to use all the clubs in their bag.

Terrible golf course
Course in terrible condition. Fairways desperately in need of attention. Greens only a little better. Slow play. Lack of signage showing where the next t box is located. There were workmen on the course. Never again.

Improving pace of play
We enjoy playing this course, however, recommend the pace of play here needs to be made known to all players in order to keep things moving along when checking in.. There have been many times when players are forced to wait an unusual waiting time on almost every hole due to extremely slow players that don’t know about etiquette. Have heard of some people getting frustrated and leaving this course after playing only several holes due to extremely slow groups ahead of them and not wanting to play here again. We have felt this way on several occasions but have tried to ignore this thought. Regardless we will still continue to play here and hoping to see improvements.

Nothing spectacular
The guy Ron behind the counter is extremely slow, so if your in a hurry, you won't be. He is not a friendly person or has any kind of personality. Not the like ladies that were behind the counter the 1st time we ever went.
The course needs a lot of work. The greens suck & the tee boxes are even worse. They need to hire a better golf course superintendent or give him some money to get the grass up to par (pun intended). I will say that hole #17 was the best kept hole. That was a pleasure to play. Just wish the rest of the course was like that one!

Good course for plus bogey players
My wife and I enjoy playing this course even though it could use some TLC. Pace of play can improve by having Rangers move slow players along. We recommend this course but I’m sure much better players would be disappointed

Great short course
Staa could not have been nicer. The starter was very helpful explaining the course layout and pointing out things to look for. Very playable. Great place to tune up your iron play.

Great day of golf!
Delightful 18 holes of golf. We were paired with 2 strangers and ended up great new friends. We were all about the same level of play and it was.a.wonderful experience!
