About
Delray Beach Golf Club is the championship sister course to the executive Lakeview Golf Club, which is located less than a mile away. It is also less than three miles from downtown Delray Beach. Opened in 1926, Donald Ross designed the layout and over the years, touring professionals on their way to Miami have made it a habit to stop and play the classic design. Its still-growing popularity is a testament to the quality of the round. It provides a quick round that can be played in just over 4 hours but it still offers enough challenges for low handicappers. There is very little water coming into play but with the strategic bunkering that is abundant throughout the course, water features will hardly be missed. The club also has a reputation for being one of the most well maintained public courses in the area as well.

Course was great, greens not so much.
The course played great, however, the greens were in pretty bad shape, ball bounced dur8ng every single putt and there were legit sand traps on greens from repairs of sorts. Besides that, fun round.
Need Work!
A nice Donald Ross course built in the 1920’s
They need to work on the greens “Very Slow” and dead patches.
I am told it will be renovated this year.
Worth it for the price
The course has definitely been improved over the past few months (going off of previous reviews and images). The greens are still a little tough but the rest of the course is maintained. It was a nicely laid out course with a good mix of pars. Also, the staff was very nice. The cart guy, starter and rangers were very very nice and kept the course organized and maintained while golfing. Only did 9 holes but would love to come back and do both 9s and walk the course. Driving range was also a nice spot to warm up. Seems like a nice course to walk.
Great value for the money
It’s getting better, unfortunately no rain in sight. The course is still very dry , fairways are a little brown. I played twice this week and probably play twice next week also. Enjoy. Gene Carroll
Greens
The greens were in terrible condition. It was obvious that they had been seeded but that probably was done too late.
Course was good, staff was awesome!
First time playing here and we had very nice time. The course was fairly easy, greens were a bit of a mess, but it's summertime and we have had a drought for months. Overall, nice experience and we will come again to play
Horrible condition
Condition of the course was horrible! Will not be back. Great design and layout it’s a shame the city isn’t taking care of the course.
