Raritan Landing Golf Course

Course was in very good shape. Thought it was going to be very narrow because of previous reviews I read, buy was ideal for short game.

Course conditions - Well kept for this time of year. T boxes and fairways were immaculate. Greens were beaten up, only because it seems like very few people fix their ball marks.

Staff - very friendly and welcoming

Pace of play - slow, 4 hour round on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, as expected. Par 4s usually slow pace down so be prepared. Carts are limited so recommend walking instead of riding which is very doable on this course.

Price - get the most for your money here. Very cheap round of golf. You’ll hit every iron in your bag and will be able to hit driver on most par 4s.

Great place to teach someone new. Had to wait a little bit for an electric cart, but was impressed overall with the greens conditions, given the inexpensive greens fees. We’ll come back.

Regardless of skill level, golfers here are friendly! Too bad they don't know how to fix their divots on the greens. For a short course, the greens and fairways are in very good condition. Tee boxes should be moved a little more often. Most of the Par 3s are challenging. Had to wait on nearly all holes on a Sunday, but we finished in 3:45!

Good for beginners and players who would like to improve on their short game.

I had played this course right after covid reopenings. I walked, and finished in less than 3 hours. Different story today. I rented a cart ($16, a bit overpriced) and the round took 4:30. Wayyy too long for a 3300 yard course. That’s also after starting over 20 minutes late. It shouldn’t take that long, especially with 10 minutes between tee times. The threesome in front of us were waking and seemed to take forever to get to, and hit their shots. That being said the course was in really nice shape. The greens were nice, the tee boxes could use a little work. I’ll definitely come back when looking for a quick round, hope today was just an anomaly.

nice par 58 county course. great staff, nice golfer. greens and fairways in good condition, but players need to do a better job fixing divots on the green and fairways!!!! refreshment cart came thru at least 4 times in our 18s holes! The Tee box could be moved a little more often.

About the only complaint I had about this course was that I rarely got to pull out my driver. Otherwise it was a fun course and challenging. I had a nice time with my son

Staffers great. Tee boxes show signs of excessive use. Expected from a par 2 course. Disappointed that players are not caring for their green and fairway divots. The greens and fairways are full and in great condition. But I had to fixed an average of 5-8 divots per green. Refreshment cart came around at least 4 times in our round. I will definitely return and return!
