Spooky Brook Golf Course
About
Spooky Brook Golf Course in Somerset is a player-friendly course that is perfect for beginners. It offers just enough of a challenge but it still allows you some room for error. At 6,655 yards from the back tees, the golf course is relatively short but the greens, tees, and fairways offer plenty of room. The mostly flat terrain makes for an enjoyable walk and it's also wide open. While the golf course may not be the most formidable test, it does have a few challenges in store. Water has a presence throughout the course, especially on the back nine. Whether or not you are looking to hone your skills or if you want a casual round, the well maintained golf course appeals to any skill level. In addition to the course, Spooky Brook G.C. also has a driving range that you can use to warm-up.

Fix you ball marks people!
Course was in great condition except for each green had 10-15 ball marks. My self and group members would repair 3-4 each green.
Wpnderful Walking Course
I really like this course. Easy to walk. Great condition. Excellent pace of play.
Awesome.
Played here for the first time and will be coming back many times.
SBBirds
First time playing, played from the gray/white and joined a twosome. The first 9 holes nothing fancy, very forgiving can spray the ball if your accuracy is not on. Back nine is like another course, much nicer, more challenging and some unique holes. Also back nine is in a little better condition, although front nine is good. A decent county public course, nothing special. I would play again
Great course for all levels
This was my first time playing at Spooky Brook. On most holes, it’s a wide open course with very little trouble. The greens are very large and in great condition. It took slightly over 4 hours to play 18 hours which is fine for a county course. The only negative comment that I have is some bunkers had very little sand. Overall, a great day of golfing.
Nice course
Spooky Brook is a nice course and draws a crowd. Areas needing improvement are thin fairways, bunkers with water pools or too little sand, and bare spots in the rough. Then it would qualify for a four star rating.
A good course though not very challenging
Great greens and broad fairways. Back nine is bit more difficult than the front nine. Wish they had some cafeteria instead of a couple of vending machines
Really improved..
I used to live in Somerset and played this course often because it was a fair challenge, but also walker friendly. It was always in Very Good shape as well. The day I played was close to 100 degrees, so I took a power cart and was amazed at how immaculate the course was. Much improved from the last I played 5 yrs ago
County course
Local course, set up well to walk and course is in good conditions.
