Fun Round
The weather was humid in the morning. Little bit slippy due to yesterday's rain. But the playing pace was good. Buddies were great. I had a fun round. Next time I wanna play again.
Today was a Good day
Mercer west was in really good shape.
Tee boxes and fairways good shape. Greens were smooth and rolled true.
Very windy day made the course play 3 club difference. But as usual the downside . Pace of play back to 9 minutes apart tee times and the place slows to a crawl. Otherwise a really nice day.

Pricey but great conditions
Just saw the new NJ regulations, with tee time’s allowed to again be spaced as it used to be.
Tee times, understandably have been much higher than a year ago.
Let’s see if the prices come down
If the price was in line with last years rates my ratings would be excellent across the board

Beautiful, fun track
This is a nice course with lots of options to play. Plenty of forgiveness allows for scoring well, but it isn’t easy by any means. Well maintained and fun to walk.
We work hard to maintain our course, and we are ecstatic you enjoyed your time here!
Great pace of play but we had an early tee time 8:20 , no one in front of us and no one behind us .
The only thing the weather got hot probably the warmest day so far.
Making tee times and getting carts was excellent.

MERCER Oaks West
Nice course that is part of the MERCER County Parks system. They have two courses at this location and a total of four in Mercer County. Course was in good condition , the greens are a bit on the slow side and they are abiding by all the Covid 19 recommendations.

Great afternoon of golf
Had a great afternoon of golf at Mercer Oaks West today. Booking online was easy and arranging a golf cart just meant an early morning call to the pro shop. Staff was courteous and appropriately masked. The course is also in great shape.

The course was in great shape but the greens needed to be cut, very disappointed with there condition.

Been playing here for 10+ years. Nice staff, very well run. Since the reopening from Covid 19, this course is in the best shape I've ever seen it.

Excellent Course!
Amazing course run by amazing individuals. The only reason the course got any mark downs at all is because of Covid, and I have no idea what off course amenities are offered. Excellent course. Keep up the good work Mercer Oaks!

Great round on an excellent course
Mercer Oaks West is an excellent parkland golf course. The holes wind their way through wooded areas in a picturesque layout. The holes vary greatly, but all have excellent green complexes. The course was in very good condition for this early in the season. Fairways were great.

I walked on a good weather day. Course is in great condition

It was great years ago.
Great value to walk for 31 NOT for 55. The fairways are bent/poa NOT bent. The greens have been getting smaller over the last 8 to 10 years. Finally they are trying to enlarge some of the greens by scalping them back but this should have been done last year when they aerified NOT in the spring. Now when July and August comes around the perimeter areas that were scalped will die off. Many of the fairways are getting smaller each year. I have not seen any money invested back into the East or West courses over the last 8 to 10 years or more. Every year conditions continue to decline. It’s a shame because they bring in a ton of money. There is better value elsewhere in the private sector.
