About
Dunedin Golf Club was carved out of citrus groves and was the PGA National Golf Course until 1962. The golf course itself is delightful. From elevation changes to a river that bisects the course, you can just feel the aura of the great golfers who have played here. Bobby Jones, Gene Saraze, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Byron Nelson, Paul Runyan to name a few have participated in tournaments here. Dunedin Country Club is located in Dunedin, minutes from the beaches, many restaurants and several top hotel options. Dunedin Golf Club is a Donald Ross creation.

Something is terribly wrong here
Usually I don’t like to give a negative review for a golf course but the conditions here today were absolutely terrible some thing has been done to the greens that has killed half the grass. Also the pro shop has some new ridiculous policy about charging an additional $10 if you’re in a cart by yourself if you’re single and someone doesn’t wanna ride with you you both have to pay an additional $10 so much for Covid protocols not a good experience today course used to be much better something needs to change

Course is in good condition, pace of play was good. Got my first hole in one on #6...yeah baby!

Great course
A friend and I found this place on Golfnow a (hot deal). Great price and a nice course. Greens fast and true, fairways and tee boxes were nice as well. Pace of play was pretty slow due to the warriors in front of us. The starter paired us up with 2 great guys and we all enjoyed ourselves. Would recommend this course to anyone.
Get my money back
The course was closed because of weather so we didn’t get to play. I would like a refund. The people in the pro shop were rude.

Good layout, some fun holes. A few too many bare spots for my liking. Tough to chip off hard pan over bunkers to elevated greens. Greens in great shape, bunkers too.

Great course as expected. Slow play, also as expected. I for one am excited that all these courses are slammed with golfnow folks. Does it slow pace of play? Of course! However it offers local courses a lot of revenue to make upgrades. Deal with the slow play it's a sign of a growing game.

A very slow round
We played as a two sum behind Two four sums so we knew it would be slow but it took almost 3 hours to play the front 9 so when we got to the 10th the 4 sum behind us asked to play along with us so we said ok and the 6 of us played behind the 4 guys that could not keep up with the other 4 sum and 6 of us waited every hole with no ranger or player assistant we played a 5plus hour round
Decent
Nice Donald Ross course. Elevated and protected greens. Not a must play golf course but by no means a bad course at all.
