Dunedin Golf Club was carved out of citrus groves and was the PGA National Golf Course until 1962. The golf course itself is delightful. From elevation changes to a river that bisects the course, you can just feel the aura of the great golfers who have played here. Bobby Jones, Gene Saraze, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Byron Nelson, Paul Runyan to name a few have participated in tournaments here. Dunedin Country Club is located in Dunedin, minutes from the beaches, many restaurants and several top hotel options. Dunedin Golf Club is a Donald Ross creation.

Deep Bunkers
Great course! Nice layout! Friendly staff!
However, the bunkers were twice a tall as me and 13 of the 18 holes were in the sand. Luckily out in one shot on 11 of them.

Nice layout
I find the local couses have thin, scruffy grass fairways and good greens. Dunedin CC is the same but the course layout is a cut above. Many interesting holes. Good pace of play. Friendly staff.
