Hidden Gem
Citrus Springs is an outstanding track.
From the white tees it presents a tremendous challenge.
The staff from Pro Shop to Starter to refreshment personnel very friendly and efficient. Greens best I've experienced in the two months I've been in the area. If you get the opportunity to play it, enjoy as we did.
Best course I have played this winter
For winter conditions, this course is in great shape. Good tee boxes, good fairways, greens were green. The layout had a little bit of everything (except water hazards) and it was fun. The greens were tricky though, I think they might have been over seeded with rye because they were very sticky which putts slow and makes for unpredictable and unreliable breaks. I can’t wait to go back and play the course in spring/summer conditions. I will be back before then and I recommend this one to anyone!
Great challenging course
Greens are in great condition, as are most of the fairways, pace of play was amazing compared to ALL other courses in Central Florida...bonus was the good food on the turn.
Really was an enjoyable round of golf for a change.
nice course. favors a right handed player who hits a draw. greens very nice. plays longer than posted yardage. well worth a visit if you can get a discounted tee time

Decent shape
Course was in good shape. Greens were moderate speed. A few bare spots in the fairways but overall OK.
Busy day. Ended up joining a threesome. Pace of play was great. Moved right along.
