Good payout but very bad conditions
I paid for two payers $40 which is normally a very good price for golf anywhere .
Pace of play I gave 5 stars because I only saw maybe three groups while we were there.
The course is in very bad condition .The last time I played there was about a year ago which then the course was in good condition.
I know the hurricanes did some damage but the amount of damage to the fairways and greens had nothing to do with a hurricanes.
It is hard to describe the amount of bald spot on the fairways and tee boxes. Just neglect is all I can say.
The layout is a good but conditions not.
I would no recommend this course to anyone and I will never return.
It was a rough ride on the golf cart also because of no grass.
fairways are ruff
their are a lot of washouts that need to be repaired
They have given up
There's no way this course has intentions of staying in business. I'm assuming they know the land is worth more to developers and someone isn't giving resources to the staff. No grass in the Fairways and mostly sand in the greens. This summer has been ideal conditions for growing any kind of grass and it (course conditions) is pitiful. Just like the first time I played here last October of 2023. I only went because it was my girlfriend's first time ever playing golf.
Citrus Springs Golf Course
It is slowly going downhill suspect lack of funds, they are doing their best in the circumstances and it is still enjoyable for my wife and I.
Nice for a warm up round
This course needs some love but for the price I will play it again
Neeeeeeeds work
This would be a great course if they put a little money into it
The fairway need a lot of work Every time I play this course it gets worse
They need to bring in a lot of dirt and fill the holes it’s all most like you need a 4 wheeler cart to go down the fairways the greens are not to bad but they need a little work also
The tee boxes need a little work also
Nothing improving
Same conditions I've played in months before, greens with dead areas, fairways like sand bunkers and tees that aren't level and spotty. Golf carts are great and look new but why not fix the terrible cart paths first and avoid damage to the carts.
The course matters most
The weather had been severe with heavy rain, but the course was in very poor shape.
