Bad place to play
Was told no carts in parking lot.. course was so bad, the comment about no carts was comical. By far the worst course in Venice/englewood by far.
Future
Look forward to fall season playing there The potential is endless, the course will be the next go to place. Thanjs, for tge vision of tge new owners.
The greens were bumpy. The tee boots were non existent. The fairways were dust. The only fairway that had green grass was
# 18.
Great little course, new owner effort shows!
2nd time I've played since new ownership, great staff, pro shop and grill. Course is a little rough due to irrigation issues(currently being fixed) and a lack of rain. Still a fun course. You can see consistent improvements since new owners took over. I'll keep coming back!
Always enjoy
Oyster creek under new management, we enjoy playing this course even under the dry conditions of this year. Wish they made available more often on golf now.
Course is struggling with irrigation currently
Very dry and inconsistent greens
They have gone through drought so it’s not in best shape
Seems to be a good course when not super dry and brittle
Nice little 3-4 par course
The course was fun and challenging. Tee boxes were pretty dry and hard to hit off without a tee but the fairways and greens were in decent shape.
We did have to wait a bit for a foursome in front of us but gave us time to chat and eat a snack.
Would love to play this again in the future. Staff was amazing and super friendly.
biggest problem there isn't any grass on the fairways otherwise everything was good .
Great course for couples
My wife and I enjoy this course. It's length is perfect for her and there are several challenging holes for me. The layout is nice. It's been dry in Florida so the fairways are dry in some areas, but tee and greens in very good shape. We'll play here again. Used Golfpass and found good rates.
Course needs water and work
First time playing here. Drought has significantly dried up
This course.as it has affected many courses in Florida . Fairways dry, tee boxes have no grass just sand .
Greens are very bumpy and long and difficult to ever make a putt.
They are slightly green but could use a rolling.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Pro shop had an amazing selection of golf attire .
