Course was very nice. Lots of construction outside the edge of it which took some of the ambience, but not their fault. Wellen Park is just a monster.

Greens were very fast so just tap it gently for putting.

Nice feature is they give you practice balls on the range to warm up.

Carts are nice with the gps screens. Just know…don’t go near the no cart signs or it will beep and shut off. Glad someone warned me so it didn’t happen to me.

Overall very nice place with lots of wildlife.

The course was in good condition. The water Hazzard didn't have much water in them due to drought. So didn't lose as many balls as I should have, LOL. Greens were really hard & didn't stick the ball. Alot of times my ball rolled of green. That was due to drought. But course was in really good conditions. I really like playing there & got an amazing deal. The entrance to golf course changed & was a little confusing to my Uber driver but all good once we got to club house. I definitely always check this course first for deals since I really like playing on it.

Three of us played Myakka on Masters Sunday afternoon so it wasn’t crowded. Very friendly staff. Course has a bit of an old Florida feel to it and was in decent shape, considering the prolonged severe drought. Lots of on-course nature and no houses have been draws for me in the past. Well, construction at Wellen Park is now encroaching upon some of the holes. Happily, there are still plenty of birds -including owls, roseate spoonbills, hawks, herons, Sandhill cranes, kites, ospreys. Carts have GPS. Range balls are included in the fee. Overall, we enjoyed the round and would return.

Booked a 428 tee time. Nothing on the app to suggest this would not be honored as a full round of 18holes. Arrived and was was told golf carts had to be in by 730. 27 holes but sending everyone off the same course so after 1h we had only completed 3 holes. The. After teeing off on the 4th hole, lightening.. No horn because the pro shop had closed at 5. Called the next day to try to get a raincheck and was told bc it was a twilight rate they wouldn't provide a raincheck.

I've been playing golf over 30+ years, this place impressed me from the young guy behind the counter making me feel welcomed, them the starter actually explaining where to go after my warmup.

Everyone was awesome and I was looking for membership.

That's just the beginning, the course was a little forgiving off the tee which is much appreciated 🙂 then comes the greens. WOW was I impressed golfing 4 weeks ago and you really had to pay attention down hill or blown by 7-12' which I love.

Not weeds around the greens but actually awesome consistent Bermuda. After the round, the great guys with awesome attitude greets you, getting your clubs in order.

Just moved 10 minutes away in Rotunda and I consider this my home.

Coarse in pretty good condition. Greens are running true and fast. Red coarse had cart path only on back to back holes. Number 6 and 7. Been like that for awhile. Slow play 3 deep on tee boxes..

We’re in a really bad drought in SW Florida and courses are feeling it, however Myakka Pines is doing a good nub keeping fairways and greens in good condition. Great pace of play, as challenging as you want to make it. Basic food and bar on site.

This course was in great shape. Really well maintained. The course itself was very forgiving with large fairways a bit flat, but I'm from Michigan. Honestly one of the best parts was seeing all the large alligators! We will definitely be going back!
