Going the wrong direction
First tee was a REAL SHOCK! I played in a league @ Oyster Creek last year and the year before. The conditions were ALWAYS PERFECT. Several of the tees were in need of total replacement, but the 1st tee needs new turf RIGHT NOW! It left a sour taste in my mouth for the entire round. I think the two twosomes (playing separately) in front of me must have been members. They should have been playing as a foursome and let me play through. I had to leave after 14 holes because it took far longer than I thought it would.
Oyster Creek
The greens were a little slower than I am accustomed to but the overall condition of the course was very good. A good course to get your iron game in shape for the season. Playable for nearly all levels of ability.
Greens are in great condition
A light drizzle was falling but that didn't effect the friendly staff. Played in under 3 hours. Course is in very good condition. Will definitely play again
Not for low handicaps
This course has many very short holes - in the 125 to 135 yard range. There are a few longer ones where you can pull out your driver. The course is really made for high handicappers of which my wife and I are two. We like it from that standpoint. There is a lot of water and the holes can be a little narrow for those who spray the ball. The scenery is really nice and worth playing just for that alone. The crocs are all small.
slow play
love the course but the last time was the slowest round ever @ 4 .5 hours .A marshal should have got the group 2 foursomes ahead to move and we would have been o.k. ,but there was no marshal in sight all day.

Good Florida Golfing
The round was a good experience, but making the reservation was not. I found we could have played for less money if we hadn't bothered with the online system. I probably wouldn't use this again unless there are better perks.
Not enough variety
The combination of slow play ( 4+hours)
and every par 3 looking alike with the
same yardage within a club will keep me from playing this course again.
too slow
we had very poor players in front of us, they were far too slow . It caused a line up behind us. Needed a marshall out their badly.
Great for the wife.
She very much enjoys the shorter courses as she can play within her game. For me its a good time to sharpen up my iron play.
Good short course
Great for short game. Especially six iron to wedges.
Played with another couple in less than 3 hours.
Improve your short game and try this course.
Exceptional Greens
Recovering from hip revision surgery; this was a perfect course for first round after surgery. Greens in excellent condition, rolled smoothly, held the line and were fairly quick. Holes difficult to see on long putts. On course, you could play the ball where it lay. Water and traps helped add difficulty.
Course very slow
Course was very crowded and no ranger to keep
things moving. Also the course fee was $23 and I
paid $22.50 on golfnow never again. It showed $19
but when they add tax & other stuff you pay $22.50.
Also we paid for 18 holes and finished 12 holes.
Nice course
Very nice short course. Course is in good shape requires accurate iron play.Pace of play was slow the day we were there should be able to play in under four hours.
good course
It was totally overbooked. We waited about five for every shot. The people we were paired up with finally quit on number 14. I will never book again on line and will not play this course again until the off season begins.
I was extremely disappointed.
Beautiful Oyster Creek
What I love about this course is that it is not wide open like some shorter courses. There are woods and ponds separating the holes--making it a very pretty course.
Oyster Creek is a great little course.
It's in very good shape and is challenging
The people are very friendly and helpful. Best prices for Footjoy shoes as well!
Good course for improving iron play
Overall condition of course was good. The greens
have a lot of undulation and have weird hole
positions. Fun to play.
Nice course in great condition but because of so many short holes, we had to wait on17 of them.
Nice course great condition and beautiful scenes around the estate, however with so many par 3s it was very slow going, causing us to wait on every whole but one.
