Douglaston Golf Club

Had to wait on multiple holes as they were aerating the greens during our round. Round started at 7:33am and 18th hole started roughly 100 yards ahead from original tee box due to work being done.

Cart paths are in really bad shape and need to be fixed.

I’ve been playing douglaston golf course for over 10 years and this past year has been the worst conditions I’ve ever seen the course. The price they charge for this course is criminal. I understand the amount of play it gets, but the tee times need to be spaced out more. The staff is friendly but whoever is in charge only cares about making money. The course is in terrible condition and the clientele and maintenance do not take care of it. I would not recommend to anyone .

I love this course. I've been playing there forever. After Covid the pace of place is much better - no walk-ins. Before it was a nightmare - with booked tee time you are lucky to tee-off less than an hour late.

But the course needs improvement. Nobody spent even $1 after Giuliany dod it 30 years ago. Potholes, the greens are terrible. You can lose your kidneys driving on the pathways (or may I say "pothole ways" . Paying $80 for this course is a crime. Daylight robbery.

It’s a fine course, challenging but not intimidating. The greens and tee boxes had the late August wear that you should expect from a public course. The three straight par 3’s are always a fun little challenge.
