Unfortunately Jim the ranger has completely ruined this course and any sense of relaxing, fun golf here. Paying customers WILL BE harassed. He will stop you multiple times mid round with a NASTY attitude, speeding by during your shots, or even stopping to talk vulgar about other patrons. All inappropriate things for a ranger to be doing. He is not a good representation of this course or golf in general… Golf is suppose to be fun. A gentleman or women’s sport. Unfortunately the ranger got a little power and has run with it, bringing along his horrible attitude. This is an example of another one of those courses or businesses in general with a ton of potential ruined by one person in the wrong position. I will not be coming back and suggest others to stay away!
The staff is friendly and interesting.they actually look out for golfers and help in every way possible to add comfort and confidence to the golers.
They located my phone when I left it somewhere. They took my info and when I called the next morning they reassured me it had been located and I went and it was there.i thank them and commend them on a small effort to assist me.!!!!!
Great Desl
Great deal for the price! The conditions were good and the spread of play was great
Greens conditions
We played the south course. The course was in nice shape, but not the greens. There were holes and divots and it was very uneven. We would have liked to stay for an outdoor lunch, but it was too noisy.
Fun Course
I've played Del Tura many times and always have a fun round. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great executive course with some challenging holes.
Need iron practice?
Nice short course to practice irons. Greens need work though. A good value if around $25
Okay course
The green fees are very high for this course. There are many other “better” courses in the area that are nicer and less expensive. The course is better this year than what we’ve experienced in the past but still overpriced.
The members were extremely entitled
Ok course. All the par 3’s challenge you, which I love. The 2 members we ran into were entitled and treated us second rate. The fact that the practice range has a small unkept area to the far right.. seriously? You’re not that kind of a semi private course. Very entitled members, for an extremely average course at best. I won’t be back
Great staff, crappy members
Course was nice, good condition. The fact that “non” members have this little not well maintained area to hit on the practice range…. I’ve played some high end courses and never experienced that. At least keep the range for “non members “ well maintained.
Then the members we met… Wow! Your course isn’t that nice, and high end for you to treat 2 non members like you did. You didn’t like where we parked our cart, and wanted us to not hit so some guy could fish??!! Really??!! It’s a driving range into a lake, and you force non members to a little area to the right. Neither us came close to hitting him. Maybe he shouldn’t fish close to the driving range
My non recommendation is based on the members we met and not the course or staff
