Decent course
had a good group to play with practice green closed for maintenance 12 30 tee time so I guess I should of expected a long round it took 5hours

The greens have a lot of rough patches. Our round took at least 5 hours as we had to wait for al.ost every shot.

Rude starter.
Starter claimed we ignored him when we passed his hut. Told him we stopped and no one was there. Accused us of lying and told us to come crack.
Pace of play was awful. Took 5 hours to play 16 holes. That’s when we left. Should’ve been a Marshall on the course to monitor ridiculously slow play.
Will not play here again.

Hard pan dead grass fairways
Rough conditions with dry dead grasses and dirt patches on all fairways. Apparently having water main problems as all bathrooms closed and portable toilets in place.

Getting better!
Troon is doing a good job turning around the conditions. Still have a long way to go to get the greens and driving range back in good condition. On course restrooms not operational.

Undergoing maintenance problems.
Course had frost causing 1 hour delay. Fairways were bare in many areas. Greens had poor grass condition on many greens. Putting was like putting on marble floors. Greens were well designed and could be fun if condition improve.
