About
Willow Creek Golf & Country Club in Mount Sinai sits on Suffolk's scenic north shore. Opened in 2005, it is one of Long Island's newest golf courses but it has already established a reputation for being one of the area's most visually impressive. What makes the course stand out is the abundance of both sand and water. The number of bunkers on the golf course comes close to the triple digits and water appears on 12 holes. The lightning fast, wildly undulating greens are a challenging complement to the hazards. The layout presents a formidable test for even the best players. One of Hamlet Willow Creek's most difficult holes is the monstrous ninth, which features water on both sides of the seemingly endless fairway. With so much water, golfers almost forget about the three large bunkers that are also treacherously lurking on this hole.

Good course, but…
Had a blast with some friends here, beautiful and challenging course with a friendly staff and wonderful off course amenities. The pace of play was extremely slow the day we played but that’s a given on one of the first nice Saturdays of the year. My only true complaint is that my cart died and I had to push it for the last three holes.

Best LI course
I just love everything about this course. Always in good shape. Pace of play was excellent late afternoon. My only complaint would be the GPS that sends you to the course always sends me in the opposite direction. I ended up about 2 miles from he entrance.Very strange

Course in good shape and greens fast from all the rain impressive. Only knick if the price you pay and no fluf white sand. Fairways good shape and greens. Prices little steep.

Beautiful Course!
Challenging course with many bunkers surrounding the green on most holes. Water hazards were mostly on the side but made some fairways tight. It has a drive thru cart cafe during peak season!

Beautiful day but greens were aerated and still hand sand on them
Beautiful day in a golf course would’ve been nice to know that the greens were aerated couple weeks before very difficult to pot on those greens. It was like a Plinko board.

First Time at Willow Creek
Really nice golf course.. Definitely challenging with traps and water abound. Felt very comfortable there. Definitely recommend.

Course is in excellent shape and greens too for this early In the season.. Only knock is very pricey for weekend rate in March.

Way too expensive for this time of year !!!
90.00+ each to play this course in March under current conditions was robbery.
We play this course (8-16 guys in our group) often during the season and really enjoy it.
Unfortunately yesterday the pace of play was very slow. Probably due to the fact that there was no starter or Ranger on the course. Pretty much a free for all for when to tee off. Tee boxes were a little rough with nothing to identify the tees. No food or beverage available at the halfway house either. You would think at 360.00 per foursome they could afford to pay a few people to work the course. Overall, a very disappointing day of golf.

Terrible experience
Had a 1:10 tee time didn't end up teeing off till about 1:30, pace of play was awful on many occasions my group of 3 was waiting at the tee box with the group ahead of us, probably waited at every tee box for about 10 min easily, a good 5 and half hour round, they really should have a ranger making people keep up the pace of play. Never coming back here especially for the fact that it is a very pricy course. DO NOT RECOMMEND
