About
Willow Creek Golf & Country Club in Mount Sinai sits on Suffolk's scenic north shore. Opened in 2005, it is one of Long Island's newest golf courses but it has already established a reputation for being one of the area's most visually impressive. What makes the course stand out is the abundance of both sand and water. The number of bunkers on the golf course comes close to the triple digits and water appears on 12 holes. The lightning fast, wildly undulating greens are a challenging complement to the hazards. The layout presents a formidable test for even the best players. One of Hamlet Willow Creek's most difficult holes is the monstrous ninth, which features water on both sides of the seemingly endless fairway. With so much water, golfers almost forget about the three large bunkers that are also treacherously lurking on this hole.

I have to admit I played almost every course on Long Island ! Willow creek is by far one of the nicest semi private golf course kudos to the grounds crew! Every hole has multiple traps a great challenge for all levels !

Hole in one

Good but can be better
Great course. Not worth $125 in the weekend. Also, course is excellent only thing is DO NOT go in to bunkers. Holy!!!!!

This is one of my favorite tracks.
This is one of my favorite tracks on L.I.
I pulled a star because the greens were very slow and one star because the bunkers were needed of sand and were very inconsistent. Normally faster greens there.
I paid $70.00 there as a senior but I saw it for $65.00 online.
The guys told me I could make a change if I wanted to make a reservation, but I did not want to be bothered. I wouldn't pull another star for that because it is really a great course.
Nice guys working there also.

Shockingly tee time 1:40 on Memorial Day and finished in under four hours Always like this coarse one of the better public tracks on Long Island. Enjoy

Golf Cart Broke Down no response from pro shop
My golf cart broke down halfway through the round and nobody from the pro shop answered our calls. We had to stop our round and were unable to finish because we had to walk back to get help from the cart guys to tow it back and then lost our place on the course. Nice course, very disappointed with the service aspect though.

Feels private
This is the closest you will get to a private club with a Daily fee public track set up , very nice layout and green speeds were excellent.

Great Course
Great course, fun holes, Sunday morning pace was under 4hrs which is stellar. Course is perfect conditions. Def recommend over any public course.

Fun and challenging
Fair amount of divots in the fairways that could use a little bit of TLC. Otherwise a narrow links style course with a reasonable amount of challenging hazards to make you think about your shots.

Willow Creek
Great coarse. in Great condition.Nice carts but they shut down if you drive to find your ball in trees ect,. A bit pricey but they spare no expense on coarse. Got hot deal to afford playing. Pro accomidated my time change. I WILL play there again
