About
Willow Creek Golf & Country Club in Mount Sinai sits on Suffolk's scenic north shore. Opened in 2005, it is one of Long Island's newest golf courses but it has already established a reputation for being one of the area's most visually impressive. What makes the course stand out is the abundance of both sand and water. The number of bunkers on the golf course comes close to the triple digits and water appears on 12 holes. The lightning fast, wildly undulating greens are a challenging complement to the hazards. The layout presents a formidable test for even the best players. One of Hamlet Willow Creek's most difficult holes is the monstrous ninth, which features water on both sides of the seemingly endless fairway. With so much water, golfers almost forget about the three large bunkers that are also treacherously lurking on this hole.

Willow Creek
This is one of long islands best courses
as it seems that golf prices have risen dramatically in 2021 perhaps due to Covid this course is well worth the money each hole has character and the greens are challenging I play here 4-5 times a year and always enjoy it

Beautiful, picturesque course. Sand has too many big rocks and are rarely raked. Greens are large and roll perfectly. Fairways are pristine. Felt like a private club.

Favorite public course to play on Long Island
I love this course.Every hole is unique and challenging. Lots of sand and water and check out the huge fish in some of the ponds.I did as I fished a few errant shots out of the water lol.This course eats me alive but I keep coming back for more.Only thing I don't love about it is the higher then usual greens fee you pay here versus some other Long Island courses. But I guess you get what you pay for and in this case it's a nice day of golf on a beautiful course.

Great challenging track
Great staff, great course, only problem was pace of play, someone should have intervened with slow group ahead, we waited every time for 15 holes
Of our 18, what is normally a 3 1/2 hour round for us turned into better than 5 hours. Ranger was a great guy but I think the course needs to get tougher on their members, they act like they own the course and pretty much a good portion are less than average players , spending way to much time looking forward bad shots and duffing many over n over and over and over. Pick your ball up or drop one n move on, clearly your not going to shoot anything that resembles an impressive score anyway, or hey maybe try tennis.

Love this golf course.
The layout of this course is challenging and fun. The overall look is beautiful with its weeping willow trees. The fairways and greens are excellent.
