About
Willow Creek Golf & Country Club in Mount Sinai sits on Suffolk's scenic north shore. Opened in 2005, it is one of Long Island's newest golf courses but it has already established a reputation for being one of the area's most visually impressive. What makes the course stand out is the abundance of both sand and water. The number of bunkers on the golf course comes close to the triple digits and water appears on 12 holes. The lightning fast, wildly undulating greens are a challenging complement to the hazards. The layout presents a formidable test for even the best players. One of Hamlet Willow Creek's most difficult holes is the monstrous ninth, which features water on both sides of the seemingly endless fairway. With so much water, golfers almost forget about the three large bunkers that are also treacherously lurking on this hole.

Late season at Willow
Very good condition, good course layout. Fair to play. Big greens, well protected, some tough Pin placements.
Course early week was a little damp in parts, shortening drive distance, which we could have used a bit more!
Back 9 got slow towards 15 thru 18.
Overall great course, 100% will travel to play again.
Always a challenge.
The course is in very good shape for this time of the year. Two issues are the bunkers that have no sand, and the amount of geese poop strewn about the course. It takes away from the beauty of the facility.

Course is in spectacular condition for this time of year. Everything is perfect, except the bunkers needs some attention.

Fairways are not clean people need to do basics
Like replace your divots and it will be alot nicer

Fun course
A bit disappointed
I love this course but today it seemed like no one cared. They ran out of range balls because no one collected them after the weekend. I eventually got a bucket of muddy balls. Didn’t even clean them. The greens and fairways were in great shape. The bunkers are horrible. They make the holes look so pretty but there is not sand in them. All rocks.

water in bal/ club cleaners in cart and better maintenance of on course bathrooms w make it even better, Great Course great staff!!
Worst bunkers I’ve ever seen. Nothing but rocks. They really need to do something about it. It’s been like that for years. I’ve chipped 2 wedges over the course of 5 yrs.
Good track and condition were good
Course was in good condition. The greens were a little slower than I remembered them to be. Staff were excellent as always, cart girls were always around, which is nice and convenient.
Played on Labor Day for weekend rates, not the best value, but got around in just over 4 hours, which was nice.
PLEASE FIX THE BUNKERS
This is one of my favorite courses, Fairways are in great shape, Greens are in great shape , Staff is great! The only negative is that this course has at least 200 bunkers but most have more rocks than sand! I chipped my sand wedge in one of them !
