About
Willow Creek Golf & Country Club in Mount Sinai sits on Suffolk's scenic north shore. Opened in 2005, it is one of Long Island's newest golf courses but it has already established a reputation for being one of the area's most visually impressive. What makes the course stand out is the abundance of both sand and water. The number of bunkers on the golf course comes close to the triple digits and water appears on 12 holes. The lightning fast, wildly undulating greens are a challenging complement to the hazards. The layout presents a formidable test for even the best players. One of Hamlet Willow Creek's most difficult holes is the monstrous ninth, which features water on both sides of the seemingly endless fairway. With so much water, golfers almost forget about the three large bunkers that are also treacherously lurking on this hole.

Great Course NO RANGERS
I have been playing at Willow Creek from the first day it was opened. Unfortunately the management does not have a Ranger allocated in their payroll. The last year they has a Ranger was the end of 2015, because of the ownership's poor judgement with allocating money for a Ranger the pace of play has deteriorated every year.
One more complaint: The course is charging $26.50 per player to ride a golf cart! Most golfers are well over 60 years of age but the course has the audacity to ask us older folks to pay a ridiculous additionally price to rent a cart?
This is basic corporate greed. Please be aware that Willow Creek Golf Course is owned by a Large company that only cares about the bottom line $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Not a Good First Impression
*Tee Time was scheduled for 9:40am and experienced a delay of 45 minutes followed be delays on every tee box for the next 6 holes.
*Course was in very good shape.
*Overall Staff Services were very good.
*When the pace of play is so poor a golfer's rhythm is obviously inconsistent.
*No Carts were available, but that was known as a potential and thank you for that heads-up.

Golf gem
Have played here many times and one of my top favorite public courses on Long Island. Great course layout. Superb greens. Tee to green is great. It just took a bit long to play today: about 5 hours on a Friday afternoon. My first time walking (with covid regulations) and found it to be easily walkable.

Rough & restroom
Rough is too high or deep. Once I drop my balls to it, can't locate it.
Should cut down little bit shorter.
Closed restroom too early, couldn't use it late Tee time hours.
Please keep it open till the course closed.

Tough course
We played from the blues and it was windy which made for a tricky day. Great course to play!!! Highly recommend.

Top 5 open to public course on Long Island
Course is in excellent shape. Greens are rolling fast and true. Great layout with lots of bunkers and water to challenge you. Pace of play was VERY disappointing, tee times were 10 minutes apart, every par 3 had 3 groups stacked up waiting. Couples in front were walking and sharing clubs. No Marshall was on the course to monitor play.

Great public course
Probably one of the best conditioned under $100 dollar courses in the by NY area. Layout is fun and condition is great

Refund needed
The tee time was made in error as I thought I was signing up for Thursday 5/14, not Tuesday 5/12. Subsequently, I made another tee time for Thursday so I have been charged twice.
GolfNow was contacted and requested that I contact the golf shop. They are not there due to COVID-19.
I will be stopping payment on my Visa.

Beautiful Course
Beautiful golf course. Immaculate fairways and greens. Short but very difficult course due to considerable water holes and sand traps. Loved the challenge .

Fairways have a large number of unreplaced divots
Course is great shape tuff in wind a few holes had a lot of divots in fairways

Booking
Great course in great shape. My only problem was I booked a foursome and prepaid. However one person had to cancel due to the passing of his mother. There IS NO WAY to contact golf now nor could I get in touch with course. I was just looking to get a credit. But I'm assuming this is my only outlet !

Worse conditions in years
I’ve been playing this course for a few years now we are in unexpected times but the course is in bad shape ,worse conditions in years ,hopefully someone read this and gets on it

Needs some work
Water hazard on the 9th and 10th fairways looks like an abandoned drainage sump , half drained out , ripped up liner and exposed pipe surrounding it . This course is on the expensive side , for what they charge place shouldn’t be in this condition .
