Mill Pond Golf Course

We didnt even tee off. When I was in the club house paying, the lady called to the ranger on the radio to go out to one of the holes and tell some golfers to move it along. I should have known then, that it was not going to go well. Tee times were running 45 minutes behind schedule. There were no golf carts in sight. We decided not to play. The staff in the pro shop was very helpful in refunding our money. Ill be back, hopefully we can play next time.

i had to privilege of playing mill pond the thursday morning the us open started out at shinnecock, well the same wind that was out there was howling here at mill pond, the course was in great shape but the wind does bring some of the hay into play and there's not much the fantastic staff can do about that, but they are there for all your other needs. with the exception of a slow foursome in front of us, which the ranger did have speed up the send nine, everything was great, can't wait to sink my teeth into this course again soon, keep up the good work!

i have played here 3x now. i like the links style and I appreciate the overall fine operation. worth the drive from western Nassau for me

Our tee time through Golfnow was a great deal. Our tee was scheduled for 12:32PM but we did not start until 1:10PM and it was very slow throughout the round. We finished after 6:30 and we will not be back until this changes.

Greens were fast and true, what you'd expect at Mill Pond... great Memorial Day round...only con, it was very slow...but can be expected on a holiday..

Pace of play was the slowest I have ever experienced. After 2 hours and 6 holes we saw a ranger. When we asked what was going on it’s so slow. His remarkable answer I don’t know I haven’t been out here. Really!!!’ Tried calling the pro shop. Recorded message said no one was available. Finally got thru. The girl at the desk said. I was too busy to answer and I’m new here. Instead on continuing with the backlog on the back we tried to relay the front. Ginslybleft wiyhout completing our round. According to the starter 3 hours for the front nine is about right for s holiday I could not make this stuff up. It was a memorable tound

16 holes in 5:35, had to leave because it was ridiculously slow and not a danger to be seen.

For a town course fairway ,greens and tee boxes are all in great condition.Compliments to all involved keep up great work it does not go unnoticed .

Wonderful round of golf until the 11th. Skies opened up and it was a struggle to the end. Course was magnificent. Would love to try it again; minus the wet conditions. Very friendly staff made the day okay.

Only thing I was not happy about it is the tee box.

I wish they do more care for the tee box.

Greens were in great condition considering so early in season. Always like this course for its variety of holes ,friendly staff and excellent practice facilities.GPS on carts is a bonus

Great opening 2 holes. Then you get fenced in a bit. Need a helmet on a crowded day tight w blind shots. The best part of the course is the final 6 holes . with 2 outstanding par 5s on 12 and 18. Links style. But too tight. Bunkers are not great

Course was in great shape greens where quick. No leaves but plenty of opportunities to loose your ball in the high fescue that is strategically placed.
