Good Times
great staff very friendly. Weather was extremely windy but course in great condition. ALWAYS enjoy playing there.
Great course. The problem is you may die of old age before you finish your round
The course is in fantastic shape.The staff is great.The layout is a classic links course.The pace of play is abominable. I played on a Friday morning and it took 5 1/2 hrs to play.At one point there were 5 foursomes on a par 5 !There is a lot of tall grass which can slow things down.They should probably treat them as lateral hazards.The problem with public course is they send groups out every 5-7 minutes No ranger to move things along. I will never go back.
Mill Pond is a jewel of a golf course. The course conditions were excellent and the staff very professional. The weather was perfect and the pace of play also. I would recommend the courses to all levels of golfer.
Beautiful day, course layout and maintenance was great. Nice club and feel to the course. Will play again soon.
Mill Pond Golf Course in Medford, NY
I have played Mill Pond before and it's always in great condition and always a good time. Most people will find the course has plenty of challenging holes but it is a fair golf course without trumped up challenges. There is a lot of fescue and quite a few holes with water, but you know, the idea is to stay on the Fairway! Mill Pond is a Links style course and one of the nicest. I would recommend this course to anyone.
Nice course with friendly staff
Actually only played 9 holes before heavy rain came down hard. Happy to get a partial rain check. Course is in good condition with interesting layout.
Nice Course to Play
Had not played this course in about 2 years. Course is somewhat challenging, with links style fescue lined holes (some, not all). Only problem really was the pace of play. Not too slow, but some waiting. Could see some novices on the course, but not near us. Overall fine day.
Mill Pond Golf Club
The Course is a links style course. Greens were medium speed. Some long par 4s and short par 5s. Course favors players who play your drives left to right. Some blind shots. No water at the course which was pretty hot outside. Some water holes at the course. Pretty wide fairways and most holes aren't tight. The Course isn't long. Not that difficult.
Pace
Wonderful course. The pace was great until we 10th hole when we caught a slow slow 4some who had no idea they're supposed to let faster groups play through.
