San Carlos Golf Club

We got caught playing behind a league. At one point there were 4 groups on a par 3. No ranger. No Bev cart.

My wife and I have played many of the public courses in the Fort Myers and Naples area. This was our first time at SanCarlos. As with all courses in this area in March, you pay a hefty premium due to high demand. In the summer, it likely costs 1/4 to 1/3 of the current rate. The condition of the e course was better than I expected. The area is in drought condition, but the course was very green. The bunkers were in good condition and nicely groomed. There is some water on the course, but not everywhere like some courses down here. There are lots of options for tees, so good for different skill levels. We played at a substantially discounted rate mid-afternoon. That made it a reasonable value.

We always enjoy playing here. We were concerned because many other courses are not watering as much and fairways are very thin, Not here! The course is in beautiful condition and a great value.

everything about the course was good greens fairways and bunkers were well maintained pase of play seemed glacial went around in four and a half hours so not as bad as it felt could use some improvement

Good layout. Greens are true and not diabolical. Little water hazards, somewhat flat, however, very enjoyable. You can still find you miss hits and put them back in play. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Driving range uses floating balls and you hit into a lake. They have a chip and putt practice areas.

we only played two holes because we were so vacked up there were 4 groups on 3rd hole. they’ve let twosomes out instead of grouping them, which caused a significant delay on each hole. Won’t be back anytime soon.

First Time playing the course, will definitely play again. Very wide open and the course is in great shape.

On vacation first time playing. Friendly staff good value. Course was in great shape and the greens were fast. Will definitely play again on my next trip.
