Nice golf course
Great course for the money. GPS in carts which some expensive courses do not have.. friendly people working there

Decent public course
Greens in great shape, fun layout, followed a senior men’s league so slow play for our twosome

Didn’t honor Golf Now price
It was Nov 1, the day price increases start and even though Golf Now, and their own website, still had old prices posted, they refused to honor them. They would let us play without paying the higher price. BTW, other than the guys in the clubhouse, the rest of the staff was great.

Definitely a favorite!
I love playing at this course in Ft. Myers. The course is in excellent shape, love the layout, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. I am a golfer who plays about onc3 a week, so it’s nice that there aren’t a lot of after hazards to lose balls. Great time at this beautiful course.

Wouldn’t bother with this place
It’s cheap, but I wouldn’t bother with this place unless it’s the only place you can get on. Starter was rude, seemed like he was begging for tips, same with the one when I finished who insisted on cleaning my clubs, even though I said no and pulled my bag off the cart. Pro shop guys, especially the one named Liam, were worse. Liam seemed to only care about what was on his phone. Course was in below average condition. Carts were not great, definitely need an upgrade. No cart person while on the course in the early afternoon (windy but 90 degrees). Water station next to the bathrooms on the course smelled like sewage(probably why they had a maintenance truck at the station between 14/17). Fairways and greens were spotty on many holes. Group in front of me were yelling and cursing at each other the whole round and it looked like they were about to fight each other, but no one in sight to keep them moving, or in line. Only reason it wasn’t worse was the $40 price to play.

I have played San Carlos over the years but forgot about it. Now that I’ve played it again I shall return in the near future. It was I great shape and the staff was wonderful!
