Old course well conditioned great location
San Carlos is nothing fancy just a well maintained old course near RSW airport. Pretty much just back and forth with very few trees and a few strategic bunkers. Greens are somewhat challenging. Can't beat US$43 with a cart for a warm up round upon arrival in Southwest Florida.

Well taken care of.
The course plays fairly long. The grounds are very well groomed. The people and staff are are friendly. The only problem that I incurred was the GPS on the cart kept reading that we were 6 to 9 minutes behind pace. We were waiting for less than a minute or 2 on every tee and played in less than 4 hours. I will play it every chance I get.

Good Price
Played on a Sunday super slow pace. Gave up on the back nine after waiting 20 mins behind 3 4s and was not going anywhere.
Course ok $45 for a $45 course. Staff very nice.

Perfect In Out Airport Course
Played an hour after we got off the plane. Middle of the road course but good layout and conditions. Bar tender is a great ambassador of course. Perfect stop on way to / from airport. Great value.

Good condition but the layout was fairly boring
The course staff were friendly and course condition was good. The front nine has no water and a number of back and forth holes with little separation. The back nine has some water but it is a bit quirky on how it comes into play on a couple of holes. It was probably a reasonable value for the price but I don't know if we'll play it again.

Florida Golf
It's really not a bad golf course. If you're a country club golfer you would probably think the conditions weren't great. I personally will play it again, because as long as the price is below $70 it's a good deal. If they raise the price to $90 then I'll look elsewhere. The course itself is in good condition with the greens a bit on the slow side for me. They roll nice but slow. I would recommend playing here if they don't raise the price.

Great course for the money. GPS in carts which some expensive courses do not have.. friendly people working there
