Best golf value in the Fort Meyers area
My wife and I had a 12:52 tee time & we were paired up with a single male golfer our own age. Pace of play was excellent....4 hours on the nose fr 18 holes, very little waiting. Course conditions excellent, although they had just done aeration. Staff was friendly and on the ball, very attentive and nice. Carts in great shape; we started right on time too. They have food and drink but we could not stay for that. I would recommend the course.
Ok course but needs some attention. Fairways are sparse and greens had just been aerated as well as being rough and bumpy without the aeration.
The course was quite enjoyable
Course was fairly challenging with all the water, enjoyed the back more than the front, but overall great day & would definitely return for another round !!!
They would not let me ride by myself in a cart. I came as a single. I offered to walk and pay for the cart, but that was also not allowed. I offered to pay extra for the cart and they said they didn't have enough carts. They said it was on the web site, but I went back and checked and found nothing.
When I went to pull my bag off the cart, the starter and the guy I was playing with agreed it was ok to walk as long as my bag was on the cart, so I did that. The starter was a nice guy, no so the manager.
This course is on the lower end of the green fee scale for in-season FL. It is average in most areas. Water on almost every hole makes the course very soft and mushy. Mud on ball on most holes. Pace of play not bad for a public course.
Had another fun round and the course is in pretty good condition albeit a few wet areas where the ball can easily plug. Greens are nice & rolled about an 8 or 9 the day we played.
Greenest course in the area
Greens, fairways, and a good portion of the rough are all in great shape. Very challenging course for tee shots with lots of water hazards. Plenty of wildlife life in the area makes it a nice day on the course
Late start time
I had a late start time so did the group in front of us. But they seemed to think it wasn't going to get dark. Played the 18th hole in the dark.
