The Morgan Hill Golf Course in Easton has a somewhat misleading name since you'll find more than just hills on this challenging course. Be prepared to face a variety of elevation changes ranging from subtle to dramatic. The golf course has a dramatic design that is carved into a hillside, which makes it a hard course to walk but one that is visually interesting and tough to play. It may not be a layout for the faint of heart but the scenery alone is enough to provide enjoyment. Golfers can enjoy scenic views of the river, but scenic respite is the only break you'll get. There is hardly an even lie to be found and the severely undulating greens will test even the most seasoned golfers. Also, be prepared for a slew of blind shots at Morgan Hill Golf Course.

Challenging course with amazing views and layout

BLUF: If you like a hilly challenge, this is your course. I booked this course as part my group's annual golf trip. I am a 7 handicap that enjoys a challenge. This course is full of elevation changes and amazing views. There is a 4 hole stretch dubbed "The Ascent", (holes 13-16), which encompasses 2 par 5's a par 3, and a ridiculous uphill par 4. Amazing views of the Lehigh Valley await! The course is in great shape, except the greens, which were recovering from aeration. Greens still rolled well. The severe elevated tee to green par 3 12th is quite the shot.

Disrespectful 3 some in front of us

Had to call the pro shop cause 3 teens in front of us were sooooooo disrespectful to the pace of play! Hittingb4 balls at a time as if it were practice ! Marshall came out but nothing changed !! Left at hole 10 and was sooo disappointed. We are coming back this week day to give it another attempt 🏌🏽‍♀️🏌🏿‍♂️

Mountain goat golf

Very hilly. Many blind shots. Not many flat lies but fun nonetheless and a great value for the $$. We had nobody in front of us on a Wednesday afternoon, so pace of play was awesome

Golf

Played here before, pace of play is crap.

Group in front, searched for a single golf ball in tall grasses for 5 minutes as we stood on the tee. Is the ball made of gold? Drop a ball…? I’m following holes - we chatted with the group as I offered them a ball to drop next time for their slow place of play, they weren’t happy obviously. The group also walked away from their cart without clubs back and forth in between shots, flubbing shots and hitting shots into the woods from the back tees.

The Marshall, who actually isn’t a “marshall” was in a cart, at the turn, checking pace asked us to halt because the group ahead of us complained - that we called them on their pace of play. Is this golf now? Were the groups ahead? Sure. But Marshall’s actually drive around the course. Not sit at the snack stand at the turn - although the said, all golfers should pick up the pace and “suck faster”, since we’re not pro golfers which was funny.

We finished just under 5hrs pace of play, so again - this place is prominent for not caring. No ACTUAL marshaling. No cart people in between 9s. Course conditions were okay, a lot of places should have been marked ground under repair - fairway, and tee box, even practice greens. Crab grass galore near greens.

The course needs some care. Tee boxes were terrible and the greens have many ball marks that need repair.

Our round took 5 hours to play.

Some of the cart paths need repair too.

I've played the course last year and it was in much better condition.

Morgan Hill golg

Good course if you know it- there are some blind holes that can be difficult if you have not played the course before. Some of the tee boxes needed to by cut.

Overall a good course with very nice greens.

Very Nice and Challenging

The course layout is very challenging in the hills with a lot of blind drives. The greens and fairways are well maintained but the tee boxes are very poorly maintained with a lot of crabgrass but mowed down.

Nice folks, nice view, challenging layout

I knew going in that Morgan Hill was different. The yardage book in the cart and on course signs helped alot. Fun layout. Greens were very different speeds but a fun fay overall. The meal in the clubhouse and the views from the deck.

Good Value

First time playing here. Pretty decent layout and overall good course for the price paid. The course can use better signage on some of the holes, you can easily get a little confused getting from one hole to another. I’d play there again
