Awesomeness
This course is very nice.
The staff is great and FOOD IS PHENOMENAL
I DID NOT EVEN NEED TO BE A MEMBER AND THEY WELCOMED ME AS IF I WAS!
Wow
How could anyone write a good review. First time I've ever went to a golf course and had to leave because of the conditions. Worst course ever if you can call it a course. And they would not give us our money back I've played $10 courses before that have been in better shape, definitely not worth $35 or the hour that I spent to drive there
Worst course I've ever played I would recommend no one travel a mile to go play on this course greens were not cut and horrible craters the fairways were not cut they were three to four inches high losing balls in the middle of the fairway the fairways were gigantically tall there was mud everywhere but there was no grass on most of the tea boxes and half the fairways for nothing but mud I recommend no one play this course if you can call it a course
Golf Course?
Thought I’d try this course even though it was an hour away, after reading several of the reviews. What a mistake - Save your time and money. I’m not sure this course even qualifies as a golf course.
I played from the blue tees (none of which had any grass), completely loose dirt fill. All but three of the so-called fairways were extremely wet and haven’t seen a lawn mower in months, probably bacause there so wet. All fairways are 85% clover. No carts parts, No yardage indicators, and not many directional signage from hole to hole. Easy to lose your way around this cow pasture if you’ve never played it before. All (18) greens had about 70% grass, the rest was dead or dirt.
Bring plenty of balls - Even if you can hit it 285 straight down the middle. A perfect drive or iron shot just plugs and disappears in the 8” tall weeded fairways soaked in water & mud. Pace of plays slows tremendously when all of the golfers are walking for 10 minutes in the same 30 square foot area attempting to find their ball.
Several fairways on the back nine didn’t have any grass whatsoever (none), just dirt, mud and lots of water. They should consider turning this course into a mud bogging course or mud sports track.
On a positive note, the diner / restaurant inside the Pro Shop must be pretty good - There were more patrons coming in to eat there than play golf.
Save your time & Money - Play another course.
Greens a good and roll true. Place would be a hidden gem with a little work. Still really wet from Elsa. Lost balls in fairway because some of them haven't been mowed in months. If they mow the course is a great layout.
I really like this course but with all the rain lately the fairways were over grown which made finding your ball hard and it also made it challenging to get a clean hit
Hard to tell it was a golf course
If there weren't tee markers and greens with a flag stick it would be hard to tell it was a golf course. The fairways were mostly weeds. The rough was longer weeds. I would not play this course again if I were paid to play it.
Cow Pasture. Not Good
Would’ve gave it a zero. It got a 1 only because the food is really good. Had breakfast and it was delicious. Staff nice, real pretty girl in pro shop. Now the bad stuff. Bathrooms were disgusting, course in horrendous shape. Barely any fairways, greens awful no grass, tee boxes long as rough. Not worth playing out there. Drove an hour to play here and will never return. It’s Trump country and it’s country. Not a good day of golf.
Great greens and food in restaurant.
People are very nice and friendly.
Improvement s could be fairways and cleanliness of pro shop and restaurant.
Great service and nice greens!
When I walked into the pro shop/restaurant I was immediately greeted by Sarah who really made me feel welcomed like no other. I appreciate the outstanding service and can't wait to come back soon. Aside from a couple groups (5some) not wanting to let me play through, the round couldn't have been much better. The greens were beautiful on the front and the layout is extremely challenging on the back. It definitely required more balls than I would have liked. The cart girl came around a couple times on Saturday and was very helpful. Yardage markers could be a little more distinguished. The food was excellent as well. Thanks!
Great course
This is the second time playing here and you just can’t beat the price great course and greens are in excellent condition always a great time and the clubhouse has a great breakfast
Friendly local course
I’ve played here a couple of times. Good value for the money. Restrooms are a little rough. Greens nice , but slow. For a player of my limited ability, a google place to develop my skills
