Confusing and Fantastic
Course was in superb condition for anytime of the year. Holes were a nice layout with great bunkers and tough approach shots.
Only bad thing to say is its not 100 percent clear on the route of the course. Almost hit down the wrong fairway twice. Also the 18th could do with a guide marker for where the green is.
Thoroughly enjoyed the day.
Overpriced at 120
Decent links course with some challenging holes, some easy holes, and a very bland back 9. Overpriced at 120euros/round for this course, IMHO. Has one of the stupidest blind 18th green. Green is completely blind behind two massive hills, so unless you have played before, or have a caddie, there is no way to determine where to hit. Back 9 is not memorable. I wouldn't return for the price they are charging.
First time playing the course..
We got Laytown on a good day, not too much wind (!). Challenging course, some really good holes particularly some of the Par 3's. Greens in great nick.
Off course very friendly and a nice bite of food to eat after.
