Course plays well. It’s open and forgiving once you account for the slope, especially on the front 9. A few scenic holes also.

Some staff are very friendly but others are not. When you pre book a buggy and then you’re told there is none available without any reasoning. The next time you don’t book and then when one becomes available you are told it’s already for someone else. Seems to be same inconsistency with certain staff members. Others are lovely and very helpful.

The front nine and back nine felt like 2 different courses.

We’ll layer out,

Tight fairways, well tree lined, a good challenge.

Greens were a little slow but looked fast.

Fairways need a tighter cut.

Bunkers need a little more sand.

The views on the course are phenomenal. The layout is generous to mid to high handicapped. The walk was a bit strenuous but manageable. On my list to return should I go to Ireland again.

Third or fourth visit to the course. Love it. Carts definitely need some attention. Had to swap it at halfway. Service at the clubhouse was below standard.

Bag strap in cart was broken. Looked visually ok. Going up the fairway on home 1 my stand bag falls off and in the fall the leg of the stand bag was damaged. I continued on anyway and used the bags straps to help secure it to the passenger side holder.

When I returned the key I spoke to the man behind the desk and informed him the bag strap on cart 1 was not working and my own bag fell off and was damaged. He didn’t seem to care, laughed and said it would be better if it was completely broken then people wouldn’t use it.

Didn’t offer any form of apology or even the cost of the cart back. It’s a good course cheap and in a good location. Just a shame the equipment isint well cared for. Tee times are also a loose recommendation here also.

Course is on a hill with glorious views and the friendliest of staff a little soft in places due to the weather in Ireland

Greens could do a bit of work but overall great day out and great value for money

Stunning golf course. Very good layout and condition. Special mention to the lady behind the counter: She was absolutely wonderful and made the day exponentially more pleasant

Really enjoyed it as I wasn’t expecting to much but it was a lot better than I expected

You won’t get a cheaper tee time on a course of its standard. Would recommend renting a buggy as the course is extremely steep.

enjoyable casual atmosphere. Good course without too many frills.
