Straight from the Ferry to Golfing Heaven
We arrived at 0645 into Rosslare, drove to the course and the staff did everything in their power to find us a slot. Welcoming and friendly staff, lovely and well kept course and the last two holes have views amongst the best in the world.
Fantastic course
What a fantastic course. The par 3 17th is a beautiful hole. It was blowing an absolute gale today so 16,17 and 18 were fun to say the least!
Great course
Really enjoyed playing this course. Few tricky holes and pins. Difficult when playing it first time. Delighted worth a visit and 17/18 are top class holes
St Helens
very good course, long but forgiving especially front 9, back 9 is outstanding test with 2 of the best finishing holes i've played, will be back
Great course, worth the money
St. Helen's is a local course for me and it's been a few years since I last played this course.
Overall it was a nice course. the greens were fast and it was very windy.
I found some of the holes were very similar but the course was in great condition.
I would highly recommend St. Helens for any golfer as some of the holes are quiet challenging, especially into the wind.
A big improvement
This course has improved a lot in the last 15 years. Will look forward to playing it again.
Smashing course
Out this morning. Really is a lovely course. Challenging in places but well.worth a visit. Staff friendly and helpful.
Only downside. Out behind a 4 ball. 2 of us playing and they point blank refused to leave us play through. Members like them no one needs .
The wind is not your friend!
Played here for the first time yesterday, let’s just say that you need to have a strategy to counter act the wind as it can really throw you off your game (especially if you slice the ball)
I expected the course to be in better condition, however it was a good day all around. Might be best to invest in more golf carts and also open the putting green.
Great course
Great course beside the sea, well kept and lovely food in club house
