Coyote Wash Golf
Like having your own course at this time of the year. Greens are nice and at this time of the season very laid back for duffer golfers so no rush. Will play this course a lot at this time of year.
Coyote Wash
Had a great time with the course almost all to ourselves. We found the fairways to be in great shape and greens in good condition also. Late April and May are the best times to get easy tee times and will play quite often here.
Windy
The day we golfed was terribly windy. Gusts up to 33 mph. We received a good rate through Golf Now, but couldn’t cancel unless the course was closed. Therefore we played even though conditions were very undesirable. We were the only ones on the course.
Painfully slow play
Which is unusual.
The cause was a tournament that was allowed to play on an open course.
Having played in multiple tourneys I understand the causes of slow play but they only affect the tournament players because the course is closed to non- tournament players.
At the very least the scheduled tournaments should be be published on popular online apps so golfers are able to make informed decisions. I, for one, would not have booked a round had I known.
Fun course
My son and I played this course for our first time, I would recommend you check it out. We had a great time. Will definitely be going back in the near future.
Slow Day at Coyote Wash
It was a great day to golf at Coyote Wash, there was a large group of people golfing in front of us which is fine, I am very happy that the golf course is busy. The problem is the pace of play, it took us over 5 hours to play our round of golf, we were a foursome & we had to wait on every shot. There was a course marshal but he did nothing to help with the pace of play.
Beautiful Saturday afternoon
It was a gorgeous day to golf, 27 degrees a light breeze it was great. Our pace of play started out great the group in front of us moved right along, absolutely no waiting, it was fantastic but our luck ran out after hole 8, we caught up to a really slow group that again didn’t let any one pass so it was wait on every shot after that. It is very frustrating.
However I must say that the golf course is starting to improve, the grass is getting greener & thicker, looks better.
