Very Slow Day of Golf
The pace of play at Coyote Wash is getting terrible, to many people come that are just learning to golf, the first thing they need to learn is course etiquette, they do not read the board at the first tee box nor do they read the back of their score card, SLOWER GROUPS LET FASTER GROUPS PLAY THROUGH! Their was no course marshal out this day either, that might have helped.
Came down from Phx to avoid WM prices all over the Balley
I like the layout of the course as it is “different”. The conditioning was less than expected, lots of greens that were bumpy and fast, not a good combination. Most fairways were sparsely grassed, bunkers not necessarily sandy. It could use a large infusion of maintenance. Still we had fun for not a lot of money. We thought it might be a quick 18 on a lightly populated SB Sunday but we were wrong. It was busy and 5 hours slow.
Okay course
Need a field marshal to push the slow players and or let the faster players play through.
Coyote Wash
Fairways in poor condition, Greens in poor condition and uneven, and most tee box's were in poor condition. Surprised how such poor conditions exist on a course charging this kind of money. Must travel over 1 mile between 6th and 7th holes. GPS has not been updated on the next 8 holes, so getting distance to pin is a challenge. This course would be ok to play at $36.00 with cart, but anymore is definitely too much.
Sand traps & Fairways
Sand traps could have been raked better, not raked from day before. Fairways were wet or muddy in spots sprinklers problem maybe, overall course was good.
Value
We took advantage of the discounted afternoon rate. Saved $20 each.
Nice January Day to Golf
The greens are not in the nicest shape, the grass seems to be dying but still playable, the fairways are slowly dying off as well, too bad great place to golf.
Slow Day at Coyote Wash
It was a beautiful day to golf, sunny with very light winds, we were late starting because of frost. There were 2 groups on the course in front of us, 4 women followed by 4 men which is fine but they are very slow & they don't let anyone play through, longest round of the we have had since we followed the same groups last season, they need to read the rules but maybe they just don't care.
Golfing AT Coyote Wash
It was slightly breezy golfing that day but still had a lot of fun on this course.
