Greens are bad
Course was OK but the greens were in horrible shape. Picked this course from Chicago and they should have said greens were in awful condition. We would have skipped it if we knew.

Aside from the current condition of the greens an absolute great course. I saw first hand the efforts being made to combat the mold/growth issues so hopefully soon will be back to normal. Normal meaning an absolute great course!
Greens Unplayable
I played course in December and the greens were unplayable.
Price doubled since then.
Thought greens were fixed.
But they are in worse shape now. Bare spots all over.
Greens unplayable
As stated by others, they have a major problem with the greens. But separate from that, the course conditions were fine, including the fairways. Layout is quit good. Not much repetition of holes.
Only one problem
Fairly challenging but fair lay out. Great pace of play. They even have marshals out on the course keeping everyone moving. Tee boxes and fairways in excellent condition. BUT the greens are in VERY bad condition !
Need to close the course and replace green surface
I have played at Lost Lake in Nov, Dec, and now in Feb. The condition of the greens are getting worse, not better. I would not play there again until the greens are replaced or resurfaced for the price of the course.
Great course but

For the shape the greens are in it is so over priced .

Greens are in terrible shape.
Don't know if this is recent or temporary, or if they've had some grass disease, but their greens are in poor condition. Many bare spots, just sand-covered. Rough greens overall.
Otherwise, this seemed to be an interesting play. I would have enjoyed it but for the condition of the greens.
Everything sweet till....
Super excited to get back out to lost lake as it’s 5 min from my house and today was a nice warm sunny day and perfect conditions for golf. Tee boxes and fairways were 5 star but we were all extremely disappointed with the condition of the greens. Thankfully we had promo code to knock it down in half so overall good value but can’t give 5 stars due to the greens. Lots of rain yesterday so guessing they might not have rolled them last two days, so there’s that, but nearly half of the greens were damaged and under repair. Friendly staff in shop, at the turn, and cart crew.

Love the course but there are bare spots on almost every green. Pro shop doesn’t tell you,
You have to find out for yourself. Love the layout.
Very nice course
Fairways and greens are in great condition. The practice green is the only thing on the course that is not in the best shape. The course can be challenging in the wind.
