Lost Lake Golf Club

Disappointed the last 2 times I've played. Normally my favorite course, but last month December, greens were freshly aerated. Who aerates greens during peak aeason? Then today, greens were worse. Almost all had damage with painted dirt. Some up to half of the total green. Will not be going back for quite a while. Was told it was from too much rain, but looks like poor greens keeping.

Good course but the greens are beat up, they are trying but have played here twice and the greens are not what they should be. Members must be going crazy!

Have played it many times before, Greens on front terrible, back better, If you are playing for a good score, probably not the place to go, Was more than disappointed that the proshop did acknowledge or really comment as to the reason why.

This course has perennially been one of the nicest courses in the area. Unfortunately, when we played today the greens were in terrible condition. It appears that they have been infected with some kind of fast-moving blight type of disease. One of the golfers we played with had played the course the week before and he said that there were only a few patches on some holes. Today there were large swaths of diseased greens on most of the holes. I would normally highly recommend this course to friends but at present, I would be reluctant to do so due to the disappointing condition of the greens.

Lost lakes is our worst golf in florida ever. Tee boxes no decent grass, fairways worse than any public course, anywhere, greens if you want to call them that are scrubby slow, and lumpy.

Staff, none. Upon arrival we had to ask a player where 1st tee was because no body told us, there was no sign and no employees. Finding the 10th hole was exactly the same, we drove around in circles until we saw another player and asked. If lost lakes wants to grub 80 bucks out of the public in a week day for this garbage at least put a sign up for the public. Guess what guys your not a private club, I’d consider this a junk course even compare to most muni’s. Go anywhere else... champions at summer field, Florida Club, the fox club, Atlantis. Enjoy your golf just not at Lost Lakes

Played today. Staff is great. Layout is difficult. Very narrow. Lots of water and jungle. Conditions were very good except for the greens. Greens were slow and had lots of bare spots. Range was included in price, which is nice. I thought it was overpriced

Have played Lost Lake several times. Always enjoyed myself. Should be nicknamed Lost Balls though...but seriously, good value for the money.

The grounds a well maintained and great layout. It feels like old Florida with the mature trees, lakes And wild life! The staff was very friendly and organized.

I enjoy playing here as there is a good variety of holes and you have to be somewhat careful as to where you hit your tee shots. The staff was excellent and I appreciate being able to get a single cart as I was a single filling out a foursome. I will definitely be back to play here.

Always like to travel south to LL as the course is very good and good conditions are good for the most part. As I understand the course has been flooded for quite some time so the muddy areas and spots that were very spongy are understandable. What isn't understandable is management's stand on the Corona virus. They have a large sign on the Pro Shop and other entrances to the building that no entrance without a mask! Fine but when you are a single waiting to get out on the course they wait for another single to pair you up with. They then make one of you abandon your cart and team up together. This was at 1:00 in the afternoon and there were plenty of carts in the barn. I think this is more to save the life of the cart and probably so there on less carts on a soggy course. Not being idiotic about this but isn't teaming up with a stranger when there are a lot of empty carts a little hypercritical on safety for the virus? I guess with the amount of play this course gets they really don't care about what you, the golfer, feels. Just an observation.
