The 2nd green on the Dunes Nine. This is a medium length par three over a creek with a green that slopes back to front. There is also a pond that guards most of the left side of this green. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

Nice day
Course was in pretty good shape being that it is still March and only second day they have been open. Green in good shap they were still a little sandy but will get better as season progresses.

Nice course in Oxford
Boulder Pointe is a fun, easy going course, that is always in good shape. Greens were very good for early season.

I love this course. Great layout, fairways, and greens. The staff was awesome for giving me a course guide free. I’ll be back
Boulder Pointe: Not Like It Once Was!
Boulder Pointe has fallen into a state of disrepair. The fairways are in bad shape. The sand traps are a shadow of their former selves. All of the traps need to be rebuilt as they are not playable.
The clubhouse is in need of a outside paint job, wood repairs and some remodeling due to rotting wood.
It’s obvious the owners are letting it go. This is very disappointing because I’ve been playing there since it opened 20 years ago. I was a member but quit. It was once one of the top public golf courses in Southeast Michigan. It can be again with the right owner.
Best Round Ever
I usually play to a 72-75 on this course, but today, after playing on the previous 2 days at Pine Knob and Captains Club, I felt very relaxed and the day was perfect!
The folks working at this facility are like your neighbors or family friends. Always accomodating!
This day, I played the Bluffs to Peaks.
All I can say is the greenskeeper placed the holes in the right spot that day and I shot my lowest score ever at a 63. Bluffs -6 and Peaks -3 from the Blues.
I don’t expect to do that again but I always like going to Boulder Pointe!

The course was in great condition considering it being almost the middle of November. Can’t wait to play here again next season, it’s always a fun “ challenge” here!

What a great November day!
We don’t often have such great weather for golf in Michigan in November. It was a beautiful day. We played Dune and Bluff. The course was in great shape. A lot of courses aerated and left their greens in really rough shape. At Boulder Pointe they were rolling true. Staff is friendly. It was great!

Stones
The only complaint I really have about Boulder is the sand traps. They all need to be raked out and sifted. There are a lot of stones, not sand, in these traps. If not for that I'd go 5 stars.
