Perfect Greens
The greens were exceptional on this day. Must not be getting much play as there were barely any ball marks. They were cut and rolled to perfection.
In Great Shape
Greens were rolling very nice for early in the year. Fairways and tee boxes were generally in very good shape too. Some of the carts paths are rough. The course is fun to play. Very different front to back with a few picturesque holes. Some easy holes, some more difficult. A good mix. Don't miss your scoring opportunities. It helps to have played the layout a time or two. But it's a fun course. The main clubhouse is still not rebuilt after the January 2023 fire. That's a darn shame but blame it on the insurance company.
Harassed by staff. Don’t bother
The grumpy rangers hounded us all round, complaining that we were slowing play down despite having no one within 2 holes of us. We were then harassed at the turn for stopping to use the bathroom. Unacceptable behavior. We demanded our money back and left after 9. Don’t waste your money.
NOT WORTH IT!
Hickory Creek should really consider setting fire to their course and themselves. The old clubhouse was fine ! Their business model sucks!!
Pleasantly surprised
I drive by this all the time and finally able to play the course. The greens were in decent shape and fairways were well maintained. Good value for the cost. I’ll come back.
Best course I played for $25( Hot Deal)
Overall the course was pretty nice actually and the layout was fun and had a bunch of water holes that come into play. All of the holes we're different and had its own challenges to it. And most surprising to me was actually the greens were in the best shape compared to everything else. And I always appreciate when there's a driving range so you can warm up when you get there. Although they're pro shop was not a pro shop, it had three brands of balls and tees. If you're looking for a nice course to go hit at randomly when you want to get out, this would be a great spot to go to.
