Enjoyed Course
I’ve always wanted to play at Sanctuary Lake. It definitely didn’t disappoint.
Beautiful challenging course, did 9 holes. Bought gift certificates and going back on the 4th of July. Club house food, spirits and service best in the area.
Decent Course but Odd Pin Placements
The course was decently kept up, but 65 dollars for that place is way too high. Also, review your pin placements or have some supervision over who does it. Wow were there some oddly placed pins today. #9 par 3 sticks in my mind, among others.
Fun round
Overall condition very good greens a little slow for my liking but still good fun place to play need to think your way around a lot of different shot options
Course is challenging. After tee shot many of your shots can be from difficult lies. Not much rough but alot of water and marsh areas to grab your attention.
Only complaint was that on this weekday the pace was a slow 5 hour round. Nice course overall and definitely worth playing.
Fun Course!
Love Links style courses! It had been a few years since I played here. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the course was. Had some great views from the tee boxes. Lots of elevation changes for a pretty flat part of the state. We had a great day!!
Very Cool Course, but Overbooked
It’s pretty annoying when a golf course can hold someone responsible for being late to their tee time, but when the golf course overbooks and isn’t able to get you on the first hole tee box until 15 mins after your tee time, that’s pretty bad.
Pace of play was also very bad for the entire 18 holes. It took us (just a twosome) almost 5 hours.
Other than that, it’s a very cool links course. Challenging but soft greens. Had a good time.
If you normally play the white tees at other courses, play the blues here. The whites are too short compared to the white tee boxes at most other courses.
Not great
Had a 2:40 tee time. Did not tee off until 3:40 due to a back up caused by an event in the morning. Played the first 9 in under 2 hours, ranger had the audacity to ask why we were behind… just not a great first impression at all.
Just need ranger controlling pace of play on course
Had great time but always hard for the solos/duos to get past the 4’somes and just drags out an already long round.
