Copper Ridge Golf Course
About
Copper Ridge Golf Club in Davison is one of the most popular public golf courses in southeastern Michigan. It's known for being one of the most affordable rounds in the area. The course is defined by the dramatically undulating greens, which will challenge even the best golfers. The tricky greens are nicely balanced with generous landing areas off the tees and a minimal amount of water hazards. The layout is challenging but the hazards are evenly distributed throughout the design so you never feel too overwhelmed, but you're never bored either. The first two holes provide the opportunity for a good start, which you'll need in order to temper the following third and fourth, which are Copper Ridge Golf Club's tightest driving holes, requiring a long and accurate tee shot to the left of the fairway.

Nice Course for the Price
Front nine was somewhat uninteresting and not as challenging as we'd hoped. The back nine, however, offered greater challenges and increased interest with shots over ponds, bunkers to avoid and elevation changes with which to contend. The fairways and greens were a little beat up when we played, but, I guess playing in October may account for that. The course is predominantly links style, with just a few holes running between trees with narrow fairways. This course offers variety, a nice clubhouse and cordial staff. They offer senior rates (over 55) all year and offer a fair rate to all players. A nice course for the price.
Professional Layout
1. Professional Layout 2. Undulating large greens, faster, but need to be rolled 3. Large bunkers, but some need more sand and additional attention/raking 4. The back tees - scratch golfers only, but other tees for all handicaps 5. Pretty, up north feel course
well maintained,nice layout
Nice course for the money...fairways are defined and manicured, greens are in good shape and quick, challenging pin placements, nice staff all in all a great place to swing em
The course management lacks customer service skills
My girlfriend and I booked an early tee time at this course. Unbeknownst us, the course scheduled a golf outing to begin almost simultaneous to our tee time. The outing was overbooked, and the course manager allowed the participants to golf ahead of us! Only after I complained about our treatment, was I given a rain check! Not a great experience by any stretch!
Fun Course
This is a great layout and a really fun track to play. Conditions are very good and the greens are in great shape. Well worth the price to play here.
Nice risk reward course
Course was in better than average shape. We teed off at 7:45 am and completed our round in 3.5 hours. Fortunately, a very slow 3 some let us through after having to wait for about two holes. My only request for improvement would be a marshall ON COURSE to keep play moving.
Challenging, yet playable.
Copper Ridge is a good value for the money. The course is well maintained and playable yet challenging.
Great Value, Good Course
It's been years since I have played the course, but course is still in good condition. There are too many unfixed ball marks on the greens, but that is a result of soft greens and lazy people. We played early in the morning, but as the greens dried out, they rolled really well. The trees still need a lot of maturing to make this course a little more of a challenge, but overall a great track.
The course is challenging.
Nice course. 92 degrees, and they wanted to charge me for a cup of ice..may not come back again.
Tees, fairways, greens all in great shape.
Played this a number of times. As a high 90s golfer, it's just right for my game. Always on my short list.
I golfed alone on this course and was the first one out. I actually played 18 holes in 2 hours. This course is very fun to play!
This was my second experience with golf now.com. I have tried coupon books, and 2 other golf discount sites but I think I have found a new source for my addiction to CHEAP golf! I got put with a group of 3 guys at the Captains Club in Grand Blanc, MI and they told me about "golfnow". I have spent a bit of time on the website and can't believe how many courses are listed in my area. I will be playing a lot of golf and saving a ton of money!
This course has a number of challenging holes.
Always well maintained and offers a number of dynamic challenges.
A lot of fun to play
WE had a good time here -- it's a bit of a drive but worth the time. We were first off, and absolutely to pressure to play fast. We even shagged balls from the ponds and still finished in 3 hours 15 minutes.
Good variety of holes
Got a great deal on Golf Now ($10 for 18 holes instead of $30) for Copper Ridge, so decided to try it out.
The course fits my game beautifully. It requires skill, but not a crazy amount of length.
Relatively fast, sloped greens. Lots of soft dog legs with an assortment of trees and high grasses give this course lots of character. You can get in trouble if you go way offline, but the course plays short (white tees are only about 5600 yards) so good wedge and short irons players should score well.
I think Copper Ridge is perfect for older players or advanced women who want a well-maintained course that won't bore you... but also won't kill you with length. There are two sets of tees beyond the white for those who do bomb the ball and want a challenge.
Great course if you can find a deal on it, and not outrageously priced to begin with.
Nice layout. Good challenge.
Had fun with 3 friends. Would come back and play it again. Only dissappointment was, we had a 7:45 tee time, but the greens never got mowed the whole day. Were slow even after the heavy dew that we putted on for the 1st 9 holes.
good value for the money, course needs some work.
The course was in pretty good shape considering all the rain in late May, but the greens need some work. This could be a pretty challenging course if they can keep up with the maintenance. The back nine is a little disjointed as you journey thru the subdivision between holes.
Great layout, well kept, challenging but not overwhelming
Definitely worth the money. The course was in great shape and the pace of play was wonderful. We played early, so we had no problems.
always enjoy this course. its a risk-reward course
the greens were in good shape, however the fairways had a lot of weeds. will play it again. well worth the fees.
course needs works
no drinking water on course - 85 degree day
