Kennsington Golf Club

This review is for when I actually played there and for when they cancelled my reservation because they can’t manage tee times properly.

The course was nice and in decent shape, it was pretty wet compared to most courses in the area. That surprised me since there hasn’t been much rain.

Driving range was “grass”/dirt…

Seems like there are a lot of large group outings that make pace of play very slow. If this course was managed better it would be very enjoyable. Maybe if enough people complain they will do something about it but seems like they don’t care about stewing people over.

I don’t recommend this course and will not be returning.

Love this course layout and challenge. At times of high play the greens can get a bit chewed up from players not knowing how to properly fix marks or no fixing at all but it is to be expected in public play so I’ve always looked past it. The rough is often times like the US Open but again I look past this because this course is truly something fantastic and the high rough just makes it more of a challenge. Large greens make it easier to hit greens and keep scoring down. Tricked out!

Groups in front of us were playing a scramble, and taking way too long to complete multiple holes . There pace of play was never pushed by any employee of the course . Our pace of play finished 55 minutes behind. Also one of the greens were air rated , and a few tee boxes were more sand than grass .

stress the need to players the need to fix their ball marks.

Looks like someone is saving a bundle on lawn care.

Sign up as a solo coming off prostate surgery just back playing from the up tees and trued to make me go with a threesome playing back tees. No group behind us yet . Just left they can keep the money. Never go back

Wonderful layout! Each hole was challenging and fun. Great tee boxes, fairways and greens. Loved the design! Great carts! Pace of play 4 hours! Great houses on each hole. Wonderful experience. Guess the designer did the Quarry and Deer Ridge. Love his courses!

Great course. Good condition. Great value. However, I can’t believe their snack shack closes at 4pm?? Otherwise, worth playing.

Good variety of hole types. Plenty that make you think about club selection.. Great amenities with bar/restaurant. Friendly staff. Among the best courses between Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Pace of play was slow, especially on a 90 degree day. Only other drawback was #16 where you have to drive 75 yards backwards to get back on cart path toward bridge over a small stream.
