Legendary Run Golf Club
About
Golf architect Arthur Hills designed the Legendary Run, an affordable facility that offers country club-caliber golf in spic-and-span surroundings and with what management calls "the friendliest service in the world." Scottish links golf courses inspired the front nine of the golf course, which sits on 200 acres of land and features six lakes, and holes are named accordingly: Troon, St. Andrews and Turnberry, for some examples. It's a different story on the back nine, which weaves through woods and was influenced by holes closer to home, such as those found at Augusta, Winged Foot and Shinnecock.
Book two weeks in advance to ensure you get on for a round on the Legendary Run golf course, and leave your metal spikes at home - there's no reason to worry, as, conditions permitting, you can take your golf cart off the path if necessary. A far cry from Cincinnati's recreational golf courses, this one requires a collared shirt (mock, if you must) and non-denim pants (shorts work, too). The pro shop will dress you if need be.
A bonus for eco-thinking golfers: The Legendary Run counts itself among the members of the Audubon Sanctuary Program and enforces respect of the natural habitat.

Great course! New carts are extremely comfortable. Tee boxes, fairways & greens all in good shape. Tee’d of at 8:30 & was done by 12:30!
Unfortunate / biting my tongue
After finishing our round, while relaxing in the clubhouse, watching The Open, we received a phone call from a staff member about damage(s) to the cart & she accused us of crashing/hitting into the other two players who we had just met for the first time. What?!? Kindly put, this could not have been further from the truth. Fortunately, we have much higher moral standards.
Hopefully they reviewed the cameras, as she stated, & discovered what actually caused these ‘damages’.
I have never experienced anything like this; to make such false accusations is simply outrageous. The new carts are nice but let’s properly do our due diligence before calling out regular paying customers. Thanks.
Legendary Run
Very nice course to play. Pace of play was great. Very enjoyable day of golf
Pace of play a problem
Love the course, sets up great. But the pace of play is SOOOOO slow. Took a 4 some playing a scramble 5.5 hrs to play.
No towels on ball washers or in the cart
Years since I played this course. The layout is excellent. A fun round of golf even after all the rain in the past weeks
Never disappoints
Played here and was surprised by couple comments.
Course was in great shape and staff super friendly. Tee times were tight with lots of play but moved smoothly.
Staff looked to be on it regarding pace with visible rangers for which I really appreciate keeping the hacks moving… for
Those players go drink beer at TopGolf..
Cart has seen better days but was told a new fleet was due any day.
Found the fees to be within range of other area courses maybe slightly cheaper.
all and all great day.
I’ll be back
Stay Far Away
Too many issues to list….terrible course conditions and pace of play isn’t even almost tolerable …. Staff is rude and arrogant… and the price is laughable…. Course used to be nice but has went to junk in the last 3 years… I’ll never return
Horrible experience. Rangers following us non stop complaining about pace of play when we are waiting on tee boxes and no one behind us. Over priced and unwelcoming. Won't be back
Great Layout Horrific Pace of Play.
This course always has a very difficult time keeping pace of play at anywhere near a good pace. I have played this course many times and it was bad last year but barely. This year it is significantly worse it took our threesome almost 4 hours to play 9 holes. I hope for the sake of the course they find a way to improve on the pace, because it truly is a great golf course layout and has the potential to be one of the best in Cincinnati.
Great course, but…
My cart didn’t work properly. The check-in clubhouse was 15 minutes with only two check-ins ahead of me. Can you say…”slow human”?
The course is one of my favorites. Just think twice before walking it. It’s a no joke walk.
Way too slow
Pace was Way to slow
4 some 2 ahead of us were 3 holes behind ridiculous
