Great place
Would have been better but three holes were under construction. Still was an amazing course with great views.
Tee time was delayed 30 minutes due to computer glitch. Biggest complaint was they allowed some regulars to squeeze in without having tee times.Alot of people were ticked off.
Poor Value for the Money in Tri-State Area
While less than $50 for 18, course was in terrible condition - fairways had more crabgrass & clover than grass - and more bare spots than the rough. Nearly every green was elevated and greens had not been cut & rolled making for very inconsistent speed. Tee boxes were inconsistent - again very little grass. Won’t be returning.
Maybe a bad day to golf there
It was very hot, I get it. But do you run the sprinklers when the course is full in the fairways and the greens when there are golfers actively playing?
Also, where was the ranger? A group of 8 was teeing off on the same hole, playing their own ball for the entire hole. Backed everyone up and we ended up skipping the final 4 holes.
Wasn't a fun day golfing with my dad who drove 2 hours to play a course I really wanted him to play for the first time.
Great for intermediate golfers
We have been golfing here for 9+ years and love the Course, staff is friendly & very helpful
Nice Course.
Nice course. Lots of elevation changes. Challenging course for 4 - 60 year old:) we had a good day.
In the Sticks
Played 9 today. This place has a zen to it given the location in the rolling hills of KY along the mighty Ohio. It's very hilly which provides great views and a challenging game. Staff were super friendly (cart guy gave me a free bottle of water for no apparent reason and then rolled off into the sunset), the greens were nice and slow, and it has a country vibe
that is good for the soul. I'll be back for a proper 18.
Elevation changes
Nice round and friendly staff. Multiple elevated greens and elevation changes. The greens were in good shape. The tee boxes and bunkers (there are not many) could use a little more attention. I would recommend it.
My favorite public course in Northern Kentucky
Great course, great challenge, excellent conditions. Friendly staff.
Incredibly small greens
Bring your darts. The greens are the smallest I’ve ever played. To add an unenjoyable aspect, the pins are just a few feet off the fringes and frequently on slopes.
There is a par 3 of ~200 yards that is one of the most difficult par 3 holes I’ve played. It is a silly hole with the green being ~25 to 30 feet wide with a hill on the left and downhill on the right. If you don’t hit the green off the box, it’s no less than a 4 and likely goes up from there.
The course and greens are in fantastic condition.
The scenery is sparkling good.
My favorite public course in Northern Kentucky
You will not find better conditions for the green fees paid. The course is in fantastic shape. The staff is very friendly, and the senior discount rate is a huge plus.
