Course is in rough condition
Last 2 years this course has been in good condition and affordable, but it is in poor condition currently. Although the greens are still pretty good, the tee boxes are in terrible shape and the fairways are not much better.
Greens are good but everything else needs work
The tee boxes are in poor shape...a lot of the fairways are in need of improvement...I do know about four years ago it was in much better shape. I hope it gets back to what it was...not sure if the weather had a part in the poor conditions but I would not rule it out...
This course has nice greens
With the discount price through GolfNow, this was a good value. The tee boxes and fairways need some improvement but the greens were nice and well taken care of.
Early morning work needed
I course can use some more grass seeding and yardage markers in the fairways and cart pathways.

Great course at a great price! The layout (links style) is enjoyable and challenging .
Decent little course
Greens are in good shape, tee boxes are not. Hard to get your footing on some of the tee boxes which are weedy and in bad shape.
Good greens are always a plus and they are usually in pretty good shape here.
poor at best
To start the woman at check in who made it clear that she was "the owner" was beyond disrespectful to the extent that she made me feel she would rather not take me or my friends money. We were not treated like customers. I have heard horror stories about this woman's attitude and believe me they are true. If they want this course to keep the little bit of business that they do have they would remove her from being the courses representative at the check in. It is a tragedy to because I have played this course many many times before when it was under different ownership and it was respectable. As for the course itself it was in ok shape except for some of the tee boxes which were unusable. Greens are nice, but that's about it. The ruff is basically a cow pasture. The course is easy and short. The only thing that kept me from being absolutely sick to my stomach about giving these people my money was that it was a 17$ hot deal. DON'T PLAY HERE!

Overall course was in good shape, tee boxes need work but fairways and green were well maintained
Lindale is looking pretty good right now
We've played Lindale two weeks in a row. The greens are in good shape and most fairways are in good shape.
The bunkers all need new rakes - many don't even have rakes.
Several bunkers on the course that no longer have sand should either be filled with sand or reconstructed to just have grass.
Overall this is a nice course to play.
Great value for the $$$
Easy to walk, water and crossing hazards. Super clubhouse. Used to run a league there for 10 years.

we are glad we only paid $15.00. Tee boxes needed a lot of work and sand traps were dirt and junk. Greens were maintained is ths only positive thing about the course. play was slow due to a 2 some ahead of us, a foursome, and we were waiting every hole. we voiced our concerns to the ranger and he seemed not to care. they played delay golf, not ready golf

The course is a bit tight but overall it was a good time.
The course was in good shape
The course is in overall good condition. The greens were in good shape and consistent. I was a little dissapointed when we arrived and realized there was no driving range, when the website says there is.
It's early in the season and the course needs a lot of work.
The tee boxes are small and well used. The fairways are wide but need grass growth. The greens had been recently worked on and were extremely fast. Overall it was a good course for the first outing of the year.
Even with new (2 yrs) owners course still beat to death
I gave Lindale the benefit of the doubt after new owners took over. However, the course is just beat to death. The tee boxes still look like someone took a rotor tiller to them. The greens have bare spots. And the next time I need some concrete work done, I will go out to the sand traps.
Very disappointed and I won't play again
